I really liked him, the class was kind of difficult because there was no textbook. You never really knew what would be on the test, and there were only two: a midterm and a final. and one paper. i enjoyed the readings though.

The best lecturer I have had! He is interesting, enthusiastic, and its a great overall class. Test questions are open ended essay style so make sure you take notes and pay attention. No multiple choice! He expects a lot on his tests and make sure you know how to write like a college student.

The classes and material were slightly boring, but a lot of the information was interesting. The tests were based on lectures, but would also have been easy enough by just reading the text (as he wrote and lectured from the book). And I love his British accent!

Loved the class. Hornsby is one of the best professors I've ever had and I'd love to take more classes with him. He knows his stuff inside and out and makes it really interesting and presents it very, very clearly. The subject matter is very interesting on its own. No textbook, so go to class. I highly recommend him and the class for anyone.

Great lecturer--Very clear and great at explaining the subject matter. Great visual presentations with his slide shows--Good eye candy and helps maintain your interest. If you miss class, make sure to get notes. Test questions are drawn from lectures.

Have to go to class. All material is from lectures. Dry material but easy tests. Easy A.
