This is the worst prof I have ever had. The fact that he gives marks for attendance is horrible, I understood more physics when I DIDN'T go to class. He makes things way more complicated and doesn't answer questions with definitive answers. Tests are easy.

Dr. Klassen is the worst professor I've had at the U of W. He is not knowledgeable at all. If a question is asked in class he gives a very wordy response that does not give a definitive answer. Over complicates everything during his lectures by being very wordy. Tests are easy as they are taken right from the examples in class.

Klassen is an EXCELLENT prof. He often uses identical problems in the tests to that in the assignments. Great Prof!!

The problems done in class were sloppy with little focus on understanding the actual concepts. Despite his MANY different teaching "tools", his actual teaching was far from effective. The only thing I like about his course was that he gave historical background. However, I learned mostly from the text book and found lectures to be a waste of time

Excellent professor, although a little gun-ho about his research (what true science prof isn't though?). Very approachable, I've discussed anything from lecture notes to purely interests and he's always seemed willing to talk.

really nice guy, gives great lectures, and always friendly. his tests are well planned and fair. remember his doctorate is in education so he is all about teaching the material rather than read the textbook like most other profs

Very informative and knowledgeable. His lectures and labs are well structured, he's great for giving extra help to those who need it. Personality is flat, but he gets the job done well. A good prof.
