Hes rough on the outside but extremely caring on the inside. The type of professor who will go above and beyond for you. He is very straightforward in how he teaches and goes through the notes that he writes on the board. He uses references in the textbook during class to show how it is linked to the course. Makes deals for extra credit on tests!

Mumford is tough. He has to be to make you realize what the world is like. Go to class, do the hw, study for tests, ask questions and you'll be fine (it's what you should do in any class). Be respectful, you're in his house. You might just have to realize that he isn't a professor who gives you an A just because. Take good notes too!!!

I have taken Mr. Mumford for an array of courses: Ethics, Mngmnt, Oper. Mngmnt, and Law. He is an excellent person, good teacher, but tests are hard. **He collects homework every day without a doubt.** He is extremely considerate to everyone and contrary to previous comments, does NOT stay in the room for evalutations. I would recommend him.

Catered to young students and paid no attention to older students. He was extremely intimidated by older students with any knowledge of the real work world. Lectures were extremely basic and appropriate to freshman level students. Anyone with work experience would find him very boring.

He is a subaverage teacher, and his lectures are not very helpful. His outlines on the board are hard to understand. His tests are long and complicated. He also likes to give big, big assignments near the end of the semester. Assigns weekly homework that must be turned in. He's also very stuck up.
