Pepper is your prototypical law professor. Bookish, somewhat aloof, but wants students to learn and succeed. He hides the ball quite a bit at the beginning. If you feel like an idiot for the first six weeks of class, that's by design. He wants you to struggle with the material. Visiting him in office hours helps iron out what you don't get. Great!

Pepper is one of the best professors at DU. He's incredibly bright, but he expects his students to show up and do the work. If you can't be bothered to do that much, you shouldn't be in law school.
