Easy A! Lectures are boring but his stories are more interesting. He tends to talk a lot about his own experiences which are useful and compelling. Total of 3 exams. Gives study guides with all the page numbers from the textbook. Overall, great professor and very humble person!

Dr. Schoenthaler, is a great professor. I would recommend him for an courses that he teaches. He is a nice and outgoing person that likes to help his students out. The classes that he teaches are interesting like Criminology, Juvenile Delinquency, Treatment of Offenders, and Nutrition&Criminal Behavior. They are based mainly 3 exams and final.

He is quite passionate about criminology but maybe a bit too much he spends the whole semester just talking about how great he is and he repeats the same stories over and over again. The class itself it quite easy though. Just 3 exams and a final. Just make sure to be there on review day and look through the book and you'll be fine for the exams.

Highly political, loves to mention his personal achievements & oversell himself. Attendance is mandatory, not even 1 unexcused absence. Grade is based on 4 things only. Lecture heavy, pretty boring. Obsessed with nutrition. Easy class but you won't learn much. Nice guy, just wouldn't recommend him as a professor.

His stories were interesting sometimes but he bases your whole grade on tests so if you are not good at teaching yourself then the tests are hard because his stories arent in the test. He does not let class out early and he talks the whole time so it could get a little boring but hes a nice man.

Schoenthaler spends about 3 months of class talking about himself and the rest is the review before the tests and the tests. It's a snooze fest since he has no outline for instruction and constantly says um. Easy pass, nice guy, not taught well.

Dr. Schoenthalar is by far the best professor ive ever taken in my whole college life. he is so inspirational and intelligent. he helps out A LOT. he gave me two A's in both Treatment of Offender and Criminology and i didnt think i did that great. he is seriously a humble and nurturing person, i definitely recommend him and would take him again

I only have one word for this class: pointless. Did I learn anything? No. Did I waste my time by attending class every week? Yes. Do I recommend this class? No. Does the professor try to argue that the sole cause of crime is malnutrition? Yes. How a self-proclaimed 'criminologist' says that the crime dip of the 90s was due to folate is just absurd.

Okay I don't recall the section # for the class but I took Criminology etc with Dr. Schoenthaler. He is an excellent professor who knows how to teach. He cares about his students and I recommend his class. Take your vitamins! :D

Pretty straightforward tests, tells you what is on the test (usually in order of test so that's nice) a week before the test, but lectures were not usually on topic, but he tried to relate them to the book at the end of class. LOVES to talk about himself, and how well he has done. Which is very well. But gets old.

Class was "Treatment of the Offender" and he is one of the best instructors I have ever had. He makes the class interesting by adding real-world experience. He also spends time to review the material before the tests.

He's one of the nicest people I've ever met in my life. He is very willing to help you with any concerns or questions you have, inside and out of class. There are only four exams, and he tells you what exactly will be asked on each exam. He can sometimes be longwinded and get distracted in lecture, but it happens. I suggest you take him if you can.

I took his juvenile delinquency class. He's a pretty easy going teacher. No assignments, only 4 tests. He tells you what will be on the test and which page in the text book it is on. But, he has a tendency to make what could be a 20 minute lecture into an hour and a half or more! And he loves, loves, loves to toot his own horn!

probably my favorite professor yet!! gives great examples and applies the text to everyday life. tells you exactly what is on the tests with page numbers! there are no papers or projects due in the class only 4 tests. would definetly recommend this teacher
