I loved this class! Professor Mattson made it as easy as it gets! Yes, there is a lot of work, but as long as you stay on task, my attention in class, you will do great! You really need to study his practice quizzes because they will help you do great on the real quiz. Turn in all your assignments and you will do great!

He is a horrible teacher, skips around, and doesn't relate content. He speaks way to fast and most times has to re-teach himself. Most of the class had to form a study group, along with 4 hours of extra help. Take this online or drop it.

this stats class is very easy. I had an A throughout the course. The only problem I have with him is his constant habit of going off topic. He never stops talking, and when you really want him to get to the point, he goes off on another tangent. Incredibly annoying. The class wouldn't have to be three hours if he'd just get to the point of it all.

He taught my MATH190 course back in 2008. I've had many professors since then, and he is easily the best professor I've ever had at DeVry. Grades fairly, is very good at explaining things, etc. You will learn a LOT from his classes.

Great professor overall. Gets into great detail; if you ask questions he will explain it thoroughly until you understood it. Hyped on mountain dew, keeps him going. He talks rather fast but he teaches the material quite well. Not harsh on grading, he grades on how well you know the material rather than being strict on each detail.

He is a good teacher when it comes to math, he is always happy to go over anything you don't understand. His test are challenging, but his quizes are pretty easy. Just do the reviews in your syllabus and you will do fine. (buy a graphing calculator)
