Dr. Snobelen is an incredible academic who reaaaaaally knows his stuff. However, his lectures can be difficult to follow (and this sounds childish, I know) because he uses a lot of big, very specific words that you probably won't understand. The content of each class is always interesting, just a bit hard to follow. He is a very fair grader though.

Overall he was pretty good, but I found him to be quite disorganized and it was hard to stay focused.

Great prof! I did not find him boring at all, and I did find him pretty funny. Very helpful when you seek it and a fair marker (though you do have to work for your grades!) I would take his classes again if I am able to.

An enjoyable prof to have, although my essays always come back with a serious lack of comments. If you take them to him, though, he'll make commentary. You have to squint to be able to tell when he's making a joke, but he's actually really funny once you've had him for a couple of terms!

Wow, I can't believe there are so many people dissatisfied with Steve's lectures. I think his lectures are fantastic. He's really awesome at providing feedback on papers and always makes himself available outside of class for anyone with questions. I love Steve!!

He is incredibly intelligent and knowledgeable, and very willing to share his experience. Not only are his lectures useful and interesting if you pay attention, but he's extremely supportive in giving advice out of class.

This is the most boring class ever. Not to mention that he bores you to sleep. His views are usually biased and I truly think he believes he is the smartest man on earth. I would rather shoot myself in the foot than take another one of his classes.

I think he's awesome- he can be a bit boring at times and get off track, but not very often, and in the meantime he has a good way of making the people he talks about seem human. In his HOST lectures, he does a great job of immersing you in the time period.

Science and the Media. Sounded like an interesting course. Was I wrong. How is carving symbols into bone even remotely related to science or media?! There were only 2 lectures that kept me interested for the full 2 hours. Mentions University of Cambridge and Newton at least twice every lecture.

A truly smart and genuinely funny guy, but doesn't point out that he's making a joke with some kind of irritating joke-voice, so you have to listen for it.

Brilliant man but painfully monotone in his lectures. His information is incredible and he obviously knows his stuff and cares about it. Yet, his lectures always drone on as he picks everything down to little details and loses sight of what his point.

such a smart man! His knowledge of Newton knows no bounds....however, his inability to not mention Newton in every class gets a bit annoying. That aside, he's a great prof
