I would argue that Dr. Asmus is one of the best professors in the country. His passion and care for the students really set him apart. Great people make great teachers. His class was difficult but not ambiguous so easily manageable. Great experience overall

Taught an amazing cellular neurobiology class and Histology class. Hold on to your seats, because he is not easy, but is incredibly clear, repeating himself 3x for almost every fact; he doesn't really repeat but rephrases several times to be very clear!

Also had him for FRS stem cells. The BMB class is better i think because the stem cell class was really a two week class extended over 3 weeks, and the BMB class is basically YOU at the really small level. 210 is tough though, and not for the light-hearted.
