Hilton is by far the best studio prof i had. he would give everyone long crits & rotate around to be far. granted this means some days you would not get a crit but the next you would def be first. his crits were very helful & he allowed the student to work with there own ideas. only an idiot would find his class hard to understand, so take him!

What an awful professor. I know many people like him, but I think that just made him all the more cocky. He would intentionally use confusing language and would spend so much time being cool, that he never crit me. To those of you that like him, just because I didn't get along with him doesn't mean I'm a bad designer, it means I use good judgement.

horrible teacher, crits unfairly, grades unfairly, uses large words that he makes up to intimidate students, if not a girl you might not get a crit all week because hes too busy hitting on your classmates, helps some by creating their entire project and not giving any advice to others, again worst professor that i have ever and will ever h

Hes hilarious. although he usually makes the whole class restart projects if you arent going in the dirrection he wants. his crits can be harsh, so be prepared. grades fairly (for the most part).

Professor Hilton, he's a trip! Very hilarious because I think he tries to be friends with his students, to fit in with them. You should expect to back up your design with reason, not just because you're a free-thinker. He spends a LOT of time explaining certain concepts and critiquing your models so be prepared to wait your turn during Studio.

Absolutely the worst professor I've ever had. Professor Hilton is basically a late 20's academic who feels the need to prove his worth amongst the staff and students by using a big vocabulary and flashing his newly-found wealth. His skills are a joke.
