Signed up for this site just to write this review. Bellenot's Game theory was the worst class I've taken at FSU. He just regurgitates a terrible textbook. I was hoping to actually learn about game theory and decision making in a mathematical context but we spent the class learning useless theorem after useless theorem. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!

He is the most condescending professor I have ever meet. He is brilliant but him trying to share his brilliance is not coming to happen. He lacks communicating skills also.

Avoid him at all cost. His grading is very unforgiving. The homework is mandatory and barely affect your final grade, its mostly based on the exams. His exams are not based on the homework (maybe 25%). Lastly he is very stubborn, in a class with him, a girl was packing up at the end of class and as she went to turn it in the hw and he said nope

Didn't like this class. Too much time outside and in class for only 1 credit hour. His lesson PDF's are not good if you need examples and pre-labs are based off of lesson PDF. Pre-lab makes up a huge chunk of your grade and the TA lecture in lab wastes alot of time that you will always need. Got a B, only because of the pre-labs.

horrible this class is pointless the only thing it is good for is ecology, and not to many of us want to be ecologist. However even my ecologist say this is redic. busy busy work you can barley understand what to to in class and then you have to go home and do it in the post lab which you never understood how do in class, get reliable partners!

This class was pretty easy if you just follow directions and PAY ATTENTION!!!! You'll be sorry if you don't. He was helpful, but you have to put forth the effort to get the work done in the lab.

I have him for emath lab. Horrible teacher doesn't slow down for anyone and not very helpful. If you do not already know linear algebra by the time you are taking this class, don't even bother. Take ODE and linear algebra seperately just to by pass this teacher.

He seems very nice with all his available office hours, but he really is not. He goes so fast you can hardly take notes and understand at the same time. Buy the book, you WILL need it. He sucks at explaining. Very harsh when it comes to grading. And prepare yourself for big matrices on tests.

I had MAP2480 which is a brief introduction to MatLab. I was familiar it (math & programming) but if you're not it will be tough. For this class, you CAN do alright if you go to every (weekly) class and pay serious attention. You follow him doing the assignment on a big screen as you do it yourself on a comp. Then save, print, turn in next week.

Bellenot is completely useless. You will learn very little in this class that you did not teach yourself. Book is horrible. His ability to explain topics fluctuates and brief glimpses of a once brilliant mind seep through, but then all is dark again. EMath2 is important; do not waste a semester learning little to nothing about it.Take someone else.

I suggest you find another reacher because this guy teaches poorly, and grades harshly, so if your not a math wiz get out. He should only teach kids want to major in math because it looks as if he doesn't want to explain well enough for others to understand........SOO GET OUT!!!!! quickly befor he waste your time.

Tests are difficult without studying; good teacher but does not explain concepts very well. If you have trouble in math, this class can get very hard. Hard work does not necessarily mean an A. Homework and tests are graded quickly and will go over them for a better part of the class. Challenging class.

A very good, knowledgable, and nice teacher! Tests can be challenging. Easy to get bonus points on the homework and tests. Provides past semesters' tests and quizzes. Grades homework and tests VERY quickly! Excellent record and access of grades. If not too strong in math, take with another teacher.
