He gives really good feedback and jokes often in class. I went in knowing nothing about the softwares used, but I can say I'm proficient in using them ( after effects, premiere, photoshop). This course requires a lot of time outside of class. Looking forward to taking him again next semester.

Steve feels as if he is stuck in the past. A lot of the reading material he assigns us would no longer be relevant to us and isn't very interesting. You better have some experience with Adobe After Effects, Premiere, along with HTML and CSS if you want to enjoy the class. It doesn't help he doesn't clearly state what he is looking for when grading.

Steve is very hands on. The more you want to learn the more he pushes you. He wants you to impress him. He is there for you to learn so participate, it's the least you can do. Show off, make him look good, because in the end it benefits you. He expects a lot from you but you find yourself growing and achieving things you never thought you could.

He is a more of a try it out and see how you do teacher. Gives you ideas, and lets you work on your own mostly, but is helpful if you need the help. I would recommend that you already have some experience with the programs he uses. Fun class and nice guy though.

Steve, He's alright. He is hard to please tho. I was one point away from an A, but instead gave me a B. I highly rec. you take art 101b or have some prior action script coding experience before taking this class, otherwise, good luck! I had help and managed to get a B+...Also, for projects, steve makes you think outside the box, so be prepared!

I took this class as an art elective for my major, expecting to be TAUGHT programs like photoshop, dreamweaver, etc. Our class was given hardly any instruction, it was a mainly "learn it on your own". He would demonstrate things & expect us to learn by watching. It's a difficult class if you have no prior experience. He made me feel like an idiot.

Don't be fooled by his apperance- he does care if your late or not showing up to class, and if you participate or not. Class was never too exciting. Projects were okay, but hard to exceed expectations when your not familiar with programs. I wouldn't recomend the course unless your cool & comfortable with HTML coding and have some web experience.

VERY cool guy! one of the funnest classes i've taken in a long time. my only gripe is that he can be a little too lax about things. you'll start to notice a drop in attendance and a blatant disregard for deadlines after the first project when students begin to realize such actions go unpenalized. otherwise, HIGHLY recommended. i learned A TON here.
