gilbert is the man, you will learn so much with him you'll think it's going to suck, and it might, and you have to write SOOO MUCH but you'll walk out of methods realizing you KNOW methods, if you don't like research, don't take it with him, if you're intrested in research, he's your man!

He is a really nice man if you talk to him after class about the material. He has his students do 4 presentations during the semester so if you dont like to present dont take this class. I feel like the students do more teaching than he does. Interesting material.

He is conceited, very unclear when presenting information. Since he cannot complete a coherent thought, he briefly goes over multiple chapters the day before a test. Due to a professor?s death, my class was thrown into his hands and he made us catch up a month?s work of assignments, no exceptions. Very unfair.

He is a bit boring, especially in a long class, but you actually get what he is saying. and he made some cheesy as hell, but funny, jokes. Likes to call on everyone and used cards with your name on it, so always be aware! I highly reccomend him. Also, he is a great Department Head.

Gilbert's a great teacher. Say what you will about his dorky sense of humor, but the point is, the guy can teach. If you need more clarity, he doesn't make you feel bad. He's very understanding with deadlines and such, as long as you make a good effort. Very good guy. I recommend him.

This was his first time teaching this course and he did a great job. He had students go out and shadow a person in the field that they wanted to go into and I thought that was very helpful in deciding what I want to do with my life. Great Teacher and great guy!

I really dont like him, his tests are hard and for no reason at all. I am consistently getting A's in personality but barely getting C's in his social psych class. I feel I know all the concepts on tests, but the wording of questions is really bad. I'd say take the class with Dr. Downing instead

awesome teacher, very helpful and test are easy if u read and go to class everyday for the bonus points...so many extra points at the end of the semester u cant possibly fail..and he curves the grades at the end of the semester to guarantee u get u get a good grade

awful class.....writes everyones name on an index card and will call on you before asking a question so you're not prepared. he rarely goes over the readings, and just talks about himself, sometimes plays music out of nowhere.....if it weren't for the TA i would have failed

Most disreptful man I came across in my 7 years of undergraduate and graduate studies. If he wasn't tenured, he should have been fired. Treated you like you amount to nothing, Guess what Gilbert, I did amount to something.
