Seems to be closed-minded, hates biology, only preaches about his "intelligent design." Kind of creepy with the female students. Don't take him if your a bio major, he's a Darwin hater and just bashes bio the whole time.

Dr. Griffith is a nice guy. He makes some weird comments but other than that he is helpful and tries to make Philosophy interesting which in my opinion isn't an easy task. His quizzes are somewhat hard. Study the notes. Easy paper grader.

Griffith is a pretty cool prof. I took Philosophy and Personal Choice and it was a cake walk. His lectured can get very boring but my class was 2 hrs. so maybe that was it. Just pay resonable attention and have an open mind for the papers and you'll be fine.

excellent teacher. i have had him for 2 courses. he is opinionated on certain topics, but does preset all sides to arguments. he is rpetty open minded and has a desire to teach. this class was philosophy of natural science...it was very interesting and many good arguments were brought up. very good class for science majors.

Dr. Griffith is an excellent professor. He presents both sides of an argument well and makes us, the students, decide which side we believe to be most feasible. This course is interesting and I would recomend it to non-Scholars incoming freshmen (that is if you are interested in the subject material).

Very biased in his approach towards teaching philosophical theories. The fact that you can tell his views of the world from his teaching that he is a strict creationist is very troubling. But all in all he is an easy grader and he is very knowledgable in the subject.

Great guy. In all actuality he's liberal, just sounds conservative. He's a great guy to get to know outside of class. I mean, he has a pet pig. How kool is that. Classes are unplanned and often sporatic, but good overall. He got me interested in Philosophy.

The man is a conservative nut job. I have nothing against conservatives but there is no need for him to use his class as a political soapbox. I feel like I'm not learning what philosophers thought...but what he thinks about them. Not kewl at all...and being a nice guy doen't make one a good prof.

his class is fun and he connects with his students on a personal level. we usually mess around and he picks on us (in a fun way) and we make stupid jokes. however, this class wasnt planned out too well so he's making it up as he goes along. TONS of busy work. we RE-WROTE the Gorgias (by plato)...

Sometimes he can criticize other people for not having all the facts, but he doesn't think as much in depth as he should. He's a great guy outside of class, but as a professor he's no Herring or Whelan. You should completely believe and understand what you're teaching before you teach it.

Good guy outside of class, but in class I found that he didn't acknowledge the opinions of the students. Also, he likes to go off on little rants that are more annoying than anything. The biggest plus about him is that he really cares about his students.
