If you are taking math 113, take it from Dr. Jones at all costs! He has a gift for explaining calculus. Because of lectures, I never had any subject that was difficult to understand. He is super nice and has great reviews. His TAs run the lab days, and they generally did a great job as well.

Dr. Jones is by far the best math teacher I have ever had. His class is very organized and his lectures are clear and concise. He genuinely cares for the success of each student in understanding the material covered in class. He makes all his students feel important.

My favorite Math teacher of all time! He was very clear, gave tons of examples in class and helped me feel prepared for every homework assignment and test. There were clicker quizzes at the beginning of every class, but they're not hard. If I found out he was teaching another class I needed, I WOULD DEFINITELY PICK HIM AGAIN!

Very nice guy, but kind of boring. He likes to laugh at himself. Take this class at a time of day that you'll be awake. Do good on the tests and you'll do good in the class.

I love Dr. Jones because he doesn't just teach you the physics. He always has interesting tangents (eg. into quantum physics, relativity, and religion) and I find myself with a much greater love for physics. He's one of my most influential teachers. Highly recomended.

I thought he was pretty funny. His classes were fun to go to, and there were a lot of opportunities to learn things. I thought the tests were hard, and the homework took a lot of time. If you haven't taken physics in high school, be sure to read all the assigned chapters. The book helped a lot.

He's the nicest guy around, though true to Physics Department guidelines, he spends much of classtime going through derivations, which I find to be mostly unhelpful for lower level physics students. He's exceptionally lenient about assignments and grades, and is willing to help struggling students. I recommend him.

Refreshingly frank and open, his straightforward intellectual honesty and rigorous methodological attitude and enthusiasm for the material combine to raise even lowly introductory material to the highest levels of interest. His approachability and calm energy makes him a superlative instructor.

Prof. Jones is a really awesome teacher, he really cares for the students, and asks for feedback at times to see what he can do better. He is also very helpful, and is there to help his students, and not try to trick them. The semester I took the class though he did not write the tests, Prof. Clark did, and they were pretty hard. Take this class

The model of what a BYU professor should be. Combines Academic learning with insightful spiritual learning. Be prepared for a hard class but a truly unique and good professor.

pro: VERY lenient with assignments, usually willing to change your grades on tests or labs if you come to him after class...nice, amiable guy. con: he isnt the one who writes the tests, so they're usually tough for you, his class is kinda boring, VERY eccentric and giggles to himself a lot.

Prof. Jones is an interesting teacher to say the least. His class was fun, but not the best. I'm biased when it comes to ease, because I took AP Physics C in HS, and it was ten times harder than Bro. Jones' class. He gets off on the most random tangents ever, so class wasn't always helpful.

Class was entertaining. The first test gives the class a false sense of ease, since the other two exams are much harder. The curve is generous and it is very difficult to fail the course if you do the work. On most levels it is as difficult as a high school senior physics class, especially at first

He is a really nice guy but he is not a great teacher. He tells really stupid jokes which get the nerds rolling but I just slept through the class. I didn't learn very much and didn't work very hard but got an A anyway. High School Physics was more difficult.

Very nice guy doesn't equal very great teacher. The homework and lectures did very little to prepare for the tests. He offers lots of oppurtunties to raise your grade. The curve is very helpful. I think I left the class knowing less then when I started.
