Well, no wonder it's the hardest class in bio dept: it's an INTRO course that's gonna give you foundation for everything else. Honestly, I don't understand how you can come to a Bio class and not expect to memorize stuff. Very intlligent guy, his quizzes indeed ARE tests, dont miss them (even tho you're allowed to)!!!

Professor Krawiec is an amazing professor, he presents his material very clearly and tells you straight up to memorize the glossary, which REALLY helps when it comes to doing well in the course. There's 8 quizzes and a final and each is not a "quiz" but really an exam...it requires a lot of studying and READ THE BOOK and pay attention in class...

Just taking a look at him without even hearing him speak, should tell you what kind of a joke this man is. He literally would come into class, take his shoes off, and tell us his feet reminded him of hus students. Stay away from this mentally challenged man.

Very good professor. While his tests might seem hard, they really make you learn the material which is both helpful and necessary for future bio courses. It's a challenge to get an A, but certainly possible to get a good grade in the class. Class does require time and effort but anyone who feels that tests are unfair are simply not studying enough.

krawiec is the king of organization. everything is on his website and he sticks to it like no other. stay on top of the reading and pay attention in class..his quizzes are tests, dont let the term fool you. study the vocab and the pictures in the book

Krawiec is a nice guy in his office but entirely too full of himself. He trys to teach a class based on orgo, luckily I have already taken orgo. His quizes are entirely unfair and so are the graders. I have heard this is the hardest biology class (not a bio major) and thats coming from sr. bio major
