Comment:

Dr. Prociuk is a very nice person, very helpful and approachable, and he delivers the material in a very understandable way. However, he can get a little monotonous and this class specifically was quite boring.

Professor talks extremely slow and class content is very boring! But tests are easy if you study his notes and the required pages from the text (the summaries are goog enough). He also provides study outlines which are extremely helpful. Easy option but very boring!

Dr. Prociuk was very funny, and conveyed the material in a easy to understand manner. He is very passionate about his field. However the class content was extremely boring and I found it completely irrelevant.

Comment:

Fantastic professor. Really passionate about what he teaches and the students he teaches. I don't understand why everyone is claiming his tests were so difficult, he tells you exactly how many questions there will be on each item, and the notes really aren't that long. Study the notes he provides and you will do well.

Comment:

Very nice and caring prof, which is extremely refreshing. I attended most of the classes and read some of the text and got an A. Yes, he can be monotone, but still highly recommended. He MANUALLY scored all of our multiple choice exams just so we'd have it the next day. Awesome, dedicated prof.

lectures are boring and notes are not given until after class. He seeks in a monotone, quiet voice; good luck staying awake. Text was a waste of money and was very opinionated. His classes focus only on theory and names, and thus the class become mundane very quickly. BUT the prof is a nice person.

A great class. Prof is one of the best that I have had. Cares about students and wants us to succeed. Wish he taught more courses because I have taken both that he teaches. The learn and earn assignments were a nice way to earn extra marks. And the tests are pretty staight forward if you attend classes and study the lecture notes.

His classes were interesting and he knew his material extremely well HOWEVER the tests were a nightmare if you didn't memorize every single word of every note you took. And heaven forbid you miss a class and not have the in class notes to study from! Spell everything right and use the exact right words on the test or else you will be docked marks

Lectures are interesting if you haven't already read the text - but he has pop quizzes on uncovered class material. If you go to lectures there is little need to read text - which is long and very detailed. His tests are fair and cover mostly what he covers in class. Interesting group exercises. Good prof - he wants his students to succeed. Study!

I really enjoyed this course. The prof is great. Answered e-mails within a couple of hours and really showed he cared about us. Knew his stuff and was keen on having us get the most from the classes. Some of the experiential exercises were great. I enjoyed doing them and learned about myself. Would definately take another course from him.

He was ok. I wouldn't have called him a great prof. He clearly enjoys teaching, but I felt he treated us like kids. The project and some of the group work is interesting, but it had little to do with the exams, which were directly from his notes and the textbook.

A great course...really enjoyed it. Also, got a lot of useful stuff out of it. Terry is a super guy and really knows his stuff. No wonder he was nominated for a teaching excellence award. Sure hope he gets it cause he deserves it.

He was definitely on the ball; returned materials super fast, responded to e-mails really quickly, and was respectful of students. He also made an effort to get to know everyone's names (by using placards). His final was, well, a lot tougher than I expected, but the assignment was interesting and the class overall was well done. :)
