Stats for Sociology-- The fact that this professor is currently being investigated for inappropriateness towards students, sums up his character as a professor. He was very inappropriate in class and really seemed to not care if he was. I had to take him, but believe me, i havent since, and have tried others to do the same.

Just take the comments he gives you in stride, and go along with it, laugh. If you can't take it, drop. It'll last for the entire semester. As for coursework and other such things, do all your work and pay attention. You'll be fine. He's a good professor at heart, just a bit abrasive. Take it from a former students for 3 years. He's a good teacher.

if he dislikes you, the class will be difficult, not because of the material, but because he will attempt to humiliate you. There is no holds barred when it comes to talkin' junk in liebowitzs' class i.e. very very ****ed jokes, and well crafted insults that may or may not cut you deeply, depnending on how you take that kind of thing.

He is very strict with attendence. If you miss more than 3 you miss the 10 extra points he gives at the end of the semester. The projects are easy in the beginning but get tense in the end of semester. He does go off topic a lot but gives you everything on the test. Overall, if you go to his office he will help you with registration.

Easy class...But you have to attend...he accepts NO EXCUSSES!!! His lectures tend to go off base at times and things he says may make you feel somewhat uncomfortable because they're inappropriate, but if you can ignore that then by all means take the class. Once you get your grade, you won't be regreting it!

This Professor is rude and mean with no regard for student effort at times. You ask for help and he won't he will just tell you NO figure it out. Easy assignment but if you miss one letter you can fail. He can also be very judgmental toward students. If I didn't have to take him I would not take him. He needs to retire and leave.
