Your grade is basically a final paper, quizzes and tests. For the tests and quizzes he gives you the questions that he plans to use, so you know exactly what to study. Fairly lecture heavy, but he does make it funny and interesting at times. Overall if you are a non-theology major trying to get your requirement done easy, this is the class for you.

He lectures the entire class. His notes on the whiteboard consist of a few points which aren't the main topic, he talks so fast it is impossible to talk notes (no electronics policy). Very few opportunities for points. Only a handful of quizzes and reading reports then the final and a paper...I do not recommend..

Hands down the most unorganized professor I have ever had. Lectures for the full class every time impossible to follow his notes on the board. Lots of rambling and 1960's pop culture references that he will expect you to laugh at. Assigns tons of reads of which never seem to be covered in class would not recommend wasting your time on them.

All he does is lecture, which may work for some. For me, it got really boring. He can sometimes be condescending I felt like. But, you don't have to do reading (even though he assigns it) and it's pretty easy to pass the course.

Weekly reading reports or quizzes, but not usually on the same week. 2 Papers and a final exam. Easy grader on papers and quizzes. He quizzes on the review questions he hands out. He assigns a lot of reading, but if you listen in class, you don't need to read it all. He's funny and makes a boring topic interesting. Cheaters get caught in his class.

Lectures during whole class. Do not even have to read he gives all the main points in class that you need to know. Quiz every Wednesday but gives you review questions that are the exact same as quiz. 2 papers whole semester no tests. Quirky guy, really nice, and has an interesting sense of humor. He is a priest that still plays hockey in his 50s.

McMichael was a really nice guy who made a duller topic somewhat bearable. You don't even have to read all of the readings, just enough to write the papers and do the quizzes. Easy A if you're willing to just do the work that's necessary, he isn't a tough grader and is an honest man.

Good professor. Class isn't terribly interesting but it's not bad as far as theology ones go. He is very nice and actually a pretty funny guy. Kept it interesting with modern references every class. Instead of tests had weekly quizzes for 15 points that he sent the exact questions out ahead of time-easy as long as you prepare. one 10 page paper

Great professor, can be boring at times, makes the stupidest jokes but they are still hilarious. Really easy weekly quizzes, get like 6 skip days. Would highly recommend for an easy theo class. Lectures can be confusing, but he is helpful when and if you need it, sends out ALOT of emails though. Great class, great professor.

The class was very boring for me (13 yrs catholic education). When he asked questions the students were completely unresponsive. He didn't do any disciplining so it was really difficult sit through his class and not answer every question just to get through it faster.

Professor McMichael is a really nice guy and a VERY easy grader. If you're taking theology, take him. You do have to write a couple papers, but his quizzes are super easy and the final was basically a longer quiz. Read and pay attention in lecture for an hour and you'll get an A.

Awesome dude, he lectures for almost all classes, but it's not bad. He interacts w/ class and participation is easy. 10 pt weekly quizzes are easy, a few short papers, no big tests, easy final which was just a big quiz. Just go to class, pay attention, take notes, be polite, get to know him, participate and you should have no problem getting an A.

Awesome Theo Teacher. He makes it painfully obvious what he will be quizing you on. His papers are super easy if you actually eloquently present your material and support it with primary sources. He lectures a lot of class but always wants class discussion. He'll try and answer your questions but don't feel bad if your more confused afterward.

Father Steve is a good guy to take a mandatory religion class from, especially if you aren't focusing on theology and just want to get through the requirement. He is upfront with what he expects and it is mostly lecture (Don't worry he's good at lecturing!), which goes by fast. Take good notes and put some effort into the papers to do well.

Nice guy, easy class..can come to class, sit there and do nothing and get an A. after you hand in papers he grades them, gives them back and you get to redo them for your real grade. Also sends you the quiz questions in advance.

Interesting class that's main focus is the Holocaust, sometimes the material was hard to get through. The notes he writes on the board are unorganized. This is a some what demanding course with multiple novels, papers, tests, and presntations. His grading is fair and he gives study guides/ possible test questions before the test.

Fr. McMichael is a decent prof, very interested in the subject, but he doesn't solicit student involvement in discussions, so basically 90% of the class sits there silent while he lectures. He also doesn't give any feedback on how to improve your score on papers. A typical comment on an essay might be: "Great paper, nice job. B+"
