I had Dr. Mitchell for two classes: PY 110 General Psych. & PSY 223 Human Development. He is MUCH easier in PY 110. He even tells his 223 classes on the first day that 223 is more difficult than 110. He is an excellent teacher. He made learning fun.

Dr. Mitchell really knows his core content. Overall, I enjoyed his class. The only real problem that I had with his class was being able to decipher what he deemed VITAL in the assigned reading. He was all the time disagreeing with the text. That is what made the class so difficult.

What is this post below talking about? I have never once seen Doc be cranky. He is an excellent instructor who is very willing to help outside of class. He does not by any means pick one student over another! He just expects students to study! (Hello... this is college) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. MITCHELL!!!!

I had Dr. Mitchell for two psychology classes. The first one was wonderful. He was fun and energetic. The second class, however, proved that his good humor did not continue. He was picky, very derogatory to certain students (I think he has his picks), and just plain mean at times. I got an A in the first class, squeaked through the second with a D. Take this professor at your own risk. Your grade could depend on what is going on in his life at the time! Warning: Cranky Teacher Alert!
