LECTURES ARE KEY. He does post them online, but participating in class will help a lot. Also, memorize the graphs. Even if you just get the basics he'll give you credit. I started caring late in the semester, but go to the labs he hosts. They're extra credit!

Pros: extra credit review labs, study guides for tests (no surprises), you can pretty much get whatever grade you desire. Cons: His chicken-scratch notes are SO DISORGANIZED, especially towards the end of the semester. It's impossible to keep an organized notebook. Tip: the answer keys to the mult. choice assignments are what he uses for tests

Attendance mandatory. Lots of extra credit. Just study the homework multiple choice and know the graphs. If you are willing to put in the work, then you will be rewarded. That's the nice part about Stevie P.

Professor Peterson is a very knowledgeable man, but that doesn't necessarily mean he should be teaching. I paid close attention in class, but still felt like I learned nothing. Make sure you memorize the graphs for the tests. You don't need to understand the concepts, just remember them. You can pass the class without understanding anything.

Great teacher, honestly I shouldn't have passed. If you take one of his classes they are pretty much all the same. I attended every lecture in 201, in 202 and 343 I came for test days never once to lecture. If you go to class you'll get an A. If you can cram or just do a bunch of extra credit and the final paper you'll still pass.

One of the best professors I have ever had. He gives a lot of opportunities to get an A. If you go to class and try to do the homework this class will be super easy.

Steve was a wonderfully helpful teacher always looking to provide feedback. I was in his office many times. Sadly he told me many don't use his office hours. His class was set up nicely. He had extra credit labs which were great for review. He helped me network with great people for my career. He is really worth taking.

Very interesting class. To get a good grade, learn the graphs and attend extra credit labs. He is somehow conservative, but tries to keep his personal views marginal. From my own Marxist perspective, I find his economic observations very compelling. Lovely class

I really enjoyed this class. I got an A but worked pretty hard for it. Its impossible to fail. A C- is a 62% and he has 2 extra credit labs a week which I found more helpful then actual class.

Nice guy, easy grader. He gives a ton of extra credit (there are 1-2 optional review sessions every week that you get extra credit for attending). His lectures tend to be kind of unorganized, though. Sometimes on the homeworks you'll find a question that you can't answer because he told it to one class section but didn't mention it in your own.

Take econ from Steven P if you can! He is a nice professor and it is almost impossible to fail his class. He gives you points for coming to class and holds extra credit labs a few times a week to help students get points. His lectures aren't very exciting, but he is so goofy that you will probably still be paying attention to him.

Steve is a nice guy, but he's also the worst professor I've ever had (he's actually a researcher.) From his inability to pronounce words like "diminishing" and "Portugal" to his frat boy-pandering beer examples, Steve is an utter failure. I eventually retook 201 and 202 online from a community college and had a MUCH better experience than with him.

Go to the labs if you want a good grade in the class. He takes attendance, too, so go to class. He makes really dumb jokes, but if you can get over that he is very nice.

He is deligent and holding a optional lab,but..as some guy said, you MUST go to the lab to survive his exams. Just remember all his materials reviewed in lab, A is not far away!He just put the review topics on exam, just remember them!
