Great teacher! Sure there are a lot of notes to copy, but at least you know that if you didn't cover the topic in notes or lecture then you don't have to look through the chapter to find information to study. Really study your notes and case studies and you will do fine and get the grade you want. Honestly learned a lot just by listening.

Was quite unreasonable as it regards marking quizzes, but had a fair syllabus: if you had 81 points or higher before the final, you would be excused from it. One less final to study for! hooray. Class covered a lot of material. Former military, so things are done to a T. very well dressed and likes his job.

Mr. Phillips is a great guy--my favorite class thus far. It was a bit of work (nothing extreme), but I learned so much. Attendance is a must, but if you're interested in business, you'll want to be in class just to hear what he has to say. Definitely would take him again.

At first I hated him, but after i learned his style i really liked him. He likes things by the book (military background) so on quizes memorize the terms word for word. gives same papers every year (wink wink). Overall a great class and a great guy. Make sure you get to class and get there on time or you'll get a foot up the ass.

you can learn a lot from his class. just take notes and read the material. no hw which is awesome. but dont take his class if you dont attend class all the time. i almost fail for missing class. hes class is only out of 100 points so dont miss class.Overall good teacher.

If you don't like to go to class, or be there on time, do not take Phillips. He let us know one day in class that he used to be in the millitary, which explained alot. The class is composed of 3 essay tests, a paper, a presentation, and a final. These are not too difficult. However, if you miss or are late 3 days or more than you fail.

One of the best professors I have ever had. Very helpful with entrepreneurial-type students. The work was easy as long as you kept up on the reading. He is extremely knowledgable and helpful. I highly recommend him for your final semester business class!

This class was SO STUPID! The first half of the semester was standard lecture classroom format, and I learned a lot. The last few weeks in class all we did were group presentations and it was SO BORING. But we had to go to class b/c attendence counts! I got an A on everything all semester, but I got a D in the class b/c I missed three STUPID days!

Uses clear powerpoints. Requires memorization for tests, however not hard (3-5 written paragraph questions). If you do well in the class, you are excused from the final. Group presentation on a specific chapter and a formal research paper on a company of your choice are two things to expect. Overall, very informative and fun. A+++!!!
