A wonderful teacher and man! He was incredibly helpful anytime I had questions and was always very detailed with his explanations. This class was also a very easy A for me.

The course grade is based entirely on tests and vocabulary quizzes, but there are a couple of opportunities for extra credit. The professor is approachable, but is a little slow to reply to e-mails. Overall, I would recommend this professor.

Without a doubt, the best prof. at UNC. A master teacher who artfully teaches to bring out the best in each student, regardless of the student's ability level.

Easy. Go everyday b/c he has in class activities. When I took the test he let us use our books and notes on tests & would let us correct our answers for 1/2 points back. Very useful information as well. Study for the vocab quizzes (can't make those up)

Comment:

Very full of himself. Habitually 10-15 minutes late every day. Lectures were very entertaining, but rather light on actual content. Grade based on 2 papers, which he may or may not have ever read. Almost everyone gets an A .
