I LOVE this class. He is a very fun guy and loves what he does. He tries to make every class fun and interesting rather than just barking knowledge at you. He does teach sort of fast, so make sure you take notes

Dr. Walden is the best professor I've ever had! Anyone who says otherwise must not be creative or flexible in their learning styles. Everyone in my class loved him! His humor is right up my alley and he makes learning fun. He truly cares about all his students.

If you have to take more Spanish classes after 1020 for your major or minor, I do not recommend Walden. If not, he's an easy A. I'm not entirely convinced that he even fully knows how to speak Spanish. I'm dreading my next Spanish class because I'm so incredibly unprepared.

Dr. Walden loves teaching. He has been teaching for 20 years. He is super funny, and makes Spanish fun. I would take his class over and over again! Pay attention and talk in class! If you do, you should make an A.

I find it hard to take organized notes in his lecture, but his humor makes up for it. You actually have to learn the material and the homework isn't too bad. The online homework through the book is time consuming but he lets you do it up to a few days after its actually due. He doesn't really care if you are paying attention.

Very laid back and hilarious! He made my 4:30-6:15 Spanish class not awful which says a lot! The lectures are long, but he keeps you interested! He also gives you a good review for all the tests, if you study what he tells you to then this class is a very easy A! Take Walden if you have to take Spanish!!!

He is a cool guy outside of class, but also a great lecture teacher. He understands it is difficult to learn a new language seeing as he can speak a few different ones. He loves all of his students and wants them to succeed. Just buy the textbook, study the vocabulary and highlighted portions and it's all good. He is glad to help in any way he can.

if you have to take Spanish, take this professor. He breaks things down very clearly and is always always always willing to help. Also, very laid back and funny (no matter how much he claims his jokes are lame). He's like no other Spanish prof you'll have. Classes fill up quickly, so be early to register.

The Best teacher ever. My boyfriend asked me to take Portuguese with him and I absolutley love it. I love languages anyways, though I'm an accounting major. You obviously have to work for your grade, but he helps a lot. Learning in college has never been so fun!
