Prof. Fuller is amazing. He's a bit intense and hard-to-read, but he is so knowledgeable and funny too. He does expect attendance and participation, especially when you're in a German class with him (he makes you speak). Ask direct and insightful questions and you'll do well. He can be a tough grader, but he can be reasoned with if you talk to him.

Amazing professor, the class level was a bit over my head but he was very understanding about it and helped. His grading is fair, we had 4 essays that were 1-2 pages long, he gave out grammar packets/pages, and the final was only on things that he went over in depth. Overall, great professor, great material. No real textbook, packet from redE.

Lectures are interesting &he's knowledgeable. Cancelled 3 classes, twice without emailing us. Talking with other students this is common for him to do. As a student who takes Trimet from Beaverton, this is unacceptable. Im surprised no other reviews mention it. Had I known, I never would have taken the class even though I want to go into the field

Steven Fuller gets my vote as one of the best teachers at PSU. If you are taking German courses here you will not be let down in his classes. Its also impossible for anyone to fall asleep or get bored. Definitely more on the high energy side.

Amazing German professor. Was always very helpful and made German a fun language to study. He was always super active, running around and jumping on tables. He simplified most of the grammar so that anyone could learn it. One of the best professors I have ever had.

Had him for German: Speaking & Listening. Hands down the best Professor or teacher I have ever had. CRAZY hyper/energetic, HILARIOUS sense of humour, brilliant methods for helping you understand him & the topic in question. It is impossible to be bored/sleepy/spacey in this class, and you will learn a staggering amount!

The class was Nazi Culture and was absolutely awesome. Fuller knows this subject and is really passionate (I hope you know I don't mean he is a Nazi). The discussions were excellent and I really felt it helped me understand my own field of study.

Took Intell.German history, Nietzsche, and Nazi Culture from Doktor Fuller. If you want to passionately immerse yourself in German philosophical thought, take any classes you can from him. Also one of the most self-deprecating senses of humor I've encountered at PSU. Hilarious.

Fuller is the best Prof. at PSU hands down, he is concise, objective and involves everyone in class discussions. If you want a truly professional professor take Fuller. He isn't an easy grader but at the end of the class you will LOVE the subject matter. He also dances on tables. All around a pretty amazing human being.

Fuller, is by far one of the best teachers that you will ever take. He is funny, engaging and passionate about his topics. He is a difficult grader, however, it is to your benefit. If you show up for class everyday and do the reading you will be fine. YOU MUST GO TO CLASS! MOST if not all of the time, Fuller is a better teacher then the material.
