Professor Hall was easily the worst professor I have had this semester. He is all over the place and is never organized. He belittles you and makes you feel stupid for asking questions. I only skipped class when I was sick but one time I missed a test and thankfully he allowed me to make it up, but was very rude about it. I wouldnt take him again.

Mr. Hall's teaching style works well for me. One issue with teaching with different students work better with different teaching styles. Saying that one professor is a bad teacher is unfair but saying his/her teaching style works well for you is entirely fair.

Take good notes, and read the chapters.(takes tests from there)Go to class, your grade depends on it.You'll do some fun stuff, but he tends to be dry and boring and likes to ramble. Really nice and VERY willing to help. 4 tests, 2 concert reports, and takes extra credit.

I really enjoyed this class. I found Professor Hall to be a decent teacher and often quite humerous. Some of his clarifications of musical concepts were tough to grasp, but overall, I really did learn to listen more to the music I hear on a regular basis and truly do understand and appreciate it more.

Laid back but like everyone else said: sucks as a teacher. Writes all over the board to then tell you afterwards that you don't need to know that info. Not mention he's giving us TWO finals, a test and a 8-10 page paper. BS. Also obsessed with Africa so now we're rushing through the other cultures. ISN'T ORGANIZED but it's easy (only good thing).

Steve can be a really cool guy,when not put in a leadership position. steve can write drum parts fairly well, but he can't teach them for anything. i guess the thing that turned me off from him the most was the time he yelled "G.D.it" at me in anger. He doesn't need to be anything other than a drummer.

I've never liked him in Marching Band, mostly because I've yet to see his purpose. He needs to work on his drummers' attitudes. But he's been great in Pep Band. He doesn't make us play during the entire game like Barnett does. Nice and laid-back.
