Stratigraphy is a difficult subject to understand no matter how you cut it, but he explained it about as well as I imagine it can be taught. He's very helpful and will take the time to explain things to his students and offer help.

Dr. Holland is very passionate about teaching us the material and making sure we understand it. He just began powerpoint presentations that look very smooth. He is definitely into students!
