Will have to purchase an online book, all the homework is on there. There is a decent amount of homework. If you do the homework you will learn the material. Lectures are alright. He has practice exams that are almost exactly like the exams. Do the homework and practice exams you will be good.

Something comparable to his teaching would be a dumpster fire. I already don't know the material yet he'll cram useless math history lessons down my throat that have nothing to do with the current topic. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

Does the least amount of teaching in class that you can think of. Expects you to teach yourself outside the class and do the examples with a partner in class. At the very end of class he'll breeze over the answers to the examples. In other words, avoid this professor at all costs.

Professor Leonhardi is a solid teacher. Lectures can be difficult if you don't put time in outside of class. He uses an online website to give homework usually 2-3 assignments per week that take at least an hour each. The homework is often more complex and deeper than the tests. Even though calculus is a hard class he gives you ample room to suceed

It is not a good class at all. He is a smart guy, and he think everyone is smart as him. Therefore if you are not smart enough, just do not take this class, because this class is not fun, and it is really hard for everyone to even finish it.

He's generally a nice Professor but he is very confusing during lectures. He gets lost in his own words and starts solving examples which takes up the whole class period. He has high expectation from his students thus you have to keep up with him to get a good grade. He gives extra credit so that helps a lot.

Nice and funny. I really liked his teaching methods. Tests could be hard sometimes, but the homework he assigned helped a lot with learning it. If you don't understand a topic, he usually has all the "Watch It" and "Master It" on webassign to help you. Overall, great experience with class. :)

I'm a math major and have always understood and love math but this class challenged me way too much. Leonhardi explains things as if everyone in the class has a PhD and is a super genius. AVOID HIM!

Dr.Leonhardi can be a picky grader even on homework. Webassign wasnt bad because the problems have solutions with them. Tests were very basic and you can use notes. Just make sure the take home work is in prestige condition and effort otherwise you'll lose easy points. I thought he taught pretty well, I just wished there were more application probs

Math 210 is a heavy proof class and is a lot of work. The class is hard but if you are going to take it I would recommend taking it with him. Do the homework because it is worth about a third of the grade.

He is really nice and has good intentions, but he really isn't that good at teaching. He has a lot of HW (which helps with points), but you basically have to be smarter than WebAssign on many questions, since he wastes time writing theorems out word for word instead of showing you how to actually do problems. He isn't the best, but you'll survive.

Leonhardi was a decent professor. In the beginning of the semester, he wasnt very clear, but as time moved on, he got better. One thing I didnt like was that about 95% of the homework was given on WebAssign, an online program, and some of the questions/content wasnt covered in class. However, he was more than willing to help you during office hrs

Leonhardi is a fairly good teacher, sometimes he makes kinda lame jokes. The types of questions that are on the test are straight out of the book. If you have him at 8AM he will let you come in 45 minutes early to take extra time on his exams.

I liked math, until this class. HW is worth a bunch of points, and weighted heavily. I went to the MAC numerous times, and still failed the assignments. he Didnt go over many examples in class, so when it came to homework, quizzes, and tests.. no one knew how to do it. i think hes a nice guy and means well, but i dont recommend taking this guy!

His grading is sometimes questionable, like how he took 6 points off of a test because "it looked like i was confused", although the answer and work was just fine.
