Prof. Peters is an amazing professor. Highly recommend him. I find him to be funny. The projects done in class is a good ice breaker for the class to get to know each other. As long as you do the work given to you in class and follow the guidelines, you are golden. He will not post the homework on BB, so show up to get it. Participation is Ex Cred.

He is an extremely rude professor and person. You get to miss 3 total days but if you don't show up you get a zero on whatever they do in class. The quizzes are not helpful and worded so weirdly. So many presentations that he grades strictly. You have to talk in class to get any points for the day.

He's rude and no matter your question his response is ALWAYS go back to the syllabus, which I promise you doesn't always have the answers. Also if you don't write down the lectures word for word your screwed and will barely pass the quizzes. And the online textbook due dates are confusing and quiz questions related are hard never got them correct.

A lot of presentations and brain teaser activities. Doesn't make you learn art history as much as techniques and modern artists which was nice. Had great stories but wanted to let you know he was smarter than you and was really sarcastic. Tried to motivate kids to be unique by conforming to be outgoing. Let you out early but some art projects.

I am very disappointed in the way this professor carries himself. I tried to email him to confirm the homework assignment and was given a few very rude responses. Would not suggest taking this class with this professor.

Not an art major so I found the lectures extremely boring. The class isn't overly difficult as long as you don't mind presenting because that's is pretty much all your grade along with participation. If you put in a little effort you should do fine.

I am currently a master student in engineering and need a few more gen Eds. I was thinking art 101 would be an easy A. Well think again with this professor. He gives quizzes on material not even covered in class and will mark you down with no explanation to why. If he likes you, you will get an A but dont count on it.

Absolutely the worst class I have had to take. If you hate presentations, dont take this class. As of now, at least 4 presentations have to be given, including the final project. The online quizzes are unnecessarily tricky due to their wording.

His lectures are kinda boring in the beginning but then you start doing in class projects. He doesn't use the book at all so don't buy it. It's easy to get an A if u show upicipate. There isn't any tests. Gives online quizzes (5 quest.) related to lecture. U give 1 presentation & the final is an in class paper about stuff said in the lectures.

Great prof and class. Was fairly easy as long as you listen. Gives tons of extra credit just for talking during discussion time. Tests are hard if you don't write the lectures word for word, but they don't really effect your grade. Projects are fun.

Interesting lectures, but if you don't write everything down you will struggle on the tests. Takes attendance every day and participation points. Projects are pretty easy. Would definitely like the class more if his exams weren't so complicated.

Prof Peters is a great guy. There are 2 exams. I would guess the class average was a 75%. Don't worry. The exams are not worth much. Projects are worth way more. If you put in the effort, he will see that. Awesome class. Not much homework besides a few projects which took an hour or 2. TAKE HIM!!

LOVED him for ART101. Super easy and tests are straight forward from the notes. Attendance is mandatory but if you miss a few times it won't kill your grade.

Wow the tests were SUPER hard. If you don't copy every word he says in lecture, then you're definitely going to miss something on the test. He does provide easy points during discussion/lab so that was helpful. He is a nice guy, but those tests were at times very ridiculous.

Peters is a great guy. Discussions are easy points and lectures if you go and don't skip you'll get 90's or higher on all exams! Gives extra credit on days with low attendance which is always nice. Good teacher! NO TEXT BOOK REQUIRED.

No book! XD You do need to go to class and take notes for the tests, they were online so google helped sometimes but overall the tests were straight from the notes! He made class very interesting and actually got everyone engaged and talking with each other. Serious with deadlines but he realizes we are all humans who forget about things sometimes.

if you don't really like art take him. He understands students don't always love art. Lectures are long but he shows a lot of interesting pictures. Only two tests and a final that was really easy. the discussion section has 4 actual art projects but they aren't hard and don't take long. grades pretty easy. take him.

Professor Peters was amazing in Art 101! I took this class just for my art credit and it was extremely easy as long as you can follow his directions. Gives many opportunities for his students to pass and is clearly passionate about art.

The exams were very hard, even with studying. I was doing very poorly in the class until the end. He's a great guy, but his lectures are long and sometimes hard to focus in. However, I ended up doing well in the class even though I had a C the whole semester. YOU MUST GO TO DISCUSSION AND PARTICIPATE.

Not the best professor, but not the worst. I was afraid to ask questions because he's very rude when answering them. The tests were 70% fill in the blank which made them difficult, but as long as you go to every class you should be fine. Discussion is an easy 200 points too.
