adorable old man but loses his train of thought easily and gives very confusing notes. A TUTOR IS A MUST! once you get past the first test, it gets a lot easier. this class would be hard with any teacher.

Class was definitely interesting. He is a funny guy but sometimes has a bit of hard time explaining things. Just do a lot of examples in the book and remember the formulas. also do your homework it counts for a lot of your grade.

Pretty easy class.. notes are hard to follow sometimes but you get used to it, and he explains everything pretty well. Show up to class and pay attention and do the work and you'll be fine, he lets you use a cheat sheet on tests. Funny guy also.

I think this is one of the hardest classes ever & he helped me pass it. He gives homework every class almost but lets you turn it in whenever & he always lets you do redos even on the test. If you have to take Discrete take it with this professor!!!!

DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS. Very disorganized. His notes are difficult to follow. Beware of random flip-outs. His tests contain material that you may never actually see in class. He has not pronounced my name correctly all semester dispite many corrections. Simplify your life and DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS. its a complete waste of time, effort, and money.

Its a hard class, but he makes it impossible. He laughed at a few people including myself in front of the entire class!! He also told another girl that she needs to change her major because she didnt know anything! How awful is that!!!

It's not so much that the material is hard, but rather that he is a piss-poor teacher. The comment that the whole lectures are one long broken thought was probably the best way to put it. If you end up with this guy, which you shouldn't, Cry. And if that doesn't help, punch yourself in the face. That's what I'm doing right now... good luck

This class is like one giant broken thought. He has no sense of organization what so ever and you will definitely get frustrated with him. However, it is not impossible to do good in this class. There are two exams, a final, and homework pretty much every day. Read the book and ALWAYS do the homework and you have a shot at getting a good grade.
