This is the best class. Shatz keeps everyone entertained and you'll actually want to go to class. Attendance mandatory its part of his grading. Midterm and Final worth 80 percent of your grade only 50 multiple choice very straight forward just know your notes word for word. He's also hot. I got an A make sure you don't study the night before though

Awesome professor! Knows what he's talking about, let's class leave early, very funny. Midterm & final are only 50 mult choice, study & you'll do fine. If you don't talk in class choose the other participation option. No papers or hw. Definitely take him!!

Shatz is an awesome professor! He is very clear and knows his material well. He always ends class 20-25 minutes early. Only a midterm and a final. If you study, then they are a joke! Attendance policy in affect. Watch out when it comes to participation. If you don't feel comfortable talking then ask him for the alternate participation assingment.

Awesome professor! Knows material very well, and is very skilled at teaching it. He truly wants his students to do well, as he offers an alternative assignment to participation. No assignments besides keeping up with the readings in the textbook, which you could easily get away with not doing. Midterm and final are a joke if you know the material.

Professor Shatz is by far the most incredible teacher at Hofstra. He is extremely comprehensible and he makes the class so manageable. Midterm and final, 50 m.p. If you study the tests are a complete joke but if you don't study at all, you will fail. TAKE HIM, this is my second class with him, and I plan on taking another one with him next semester

Best Psych Prof. at Hofstra. He made class so interesting that you were disappointed class was over. His lectures were very clear. Had him for personality of pych too. Made me want to stay in the pyschology field.

Loved this class! Only hmwk is to read articles which basically echo what he talks about in class. You have to go to class, or get the notes since there is no textbook. Really intelligent and grades are based off the midterm, final, participation and attendance. Interesting and fun class

This is a strong statement but it's also true: Shatz made me want to become a Psych Major. Too him for Psy 007, human intelligence. not only did he make it ridiculously interesting, but the only work was 2 tests that are compeletly straightforward. You should get a solid A.
