Meteorology for Science Majors I was a great experience with Skubis as a professor. He is very knowledgeable in the area of meteorology and his lectures are interesting and keep you wanting to learn more. There is a small amount of homework and apart from 4 quizzes and 2 unit tests, there is not much more to the class, just study well!

Skubis's class is by far one of my favorite classes, because he presents the content so well, and he clearly knows what he is teaching. He is such a funny professor, and he clearly cares about his students and want them to do good. He can get sidetracked with random topics, but regardless the class is very enjoyable. I would recommend it 100 %

Class is so easy. 3 tests, 3 quizes(lowest dropped). An 85% is an A in the class, 70% is a B .. and so forth. I like meteorology a lot and found this class so fun. I barely showed up. But i loved it so much haha. He has clear notes, you really cannot get below a B in the class if you just listen to him.

Dr. Skubis always teaches MET 411, or Dynamic Meteorology I. It's a challenging course, and it requires looking over the notes, which there are a lot of. Skubis is HEAVY on math, especially calculus. There is homework, no quizzes, and two exams. He gives answer keys, which are very helpful. Great professor overall.

Skubis is the man!!! It's so hard not to like meteorology with him teaching. He loves what he does and he shows that in all his lectures. I went in there with no knowing much of the topic but he definitely drills it in you. He is on point with his test dates and gives all work back. He's amazing!

Dr. Skubis is hands down the best professor I have ever had. He is really passionate about Meteorology, and science in general. His door is always open for help, and he is in general a great guy. Tests may have a few tricky questions, but if you go to class everyday and pay attention, its an easy A. Book isn't needed in any way to learn

Awesome guy, he is very enthusiastic and passionate about the topics and tells you exactly what is going to be on the exams. Made meteorology very easy to understand. 3 quizzes and 2 tests and he drops the lowest quiz grade. Very easy A if you pay slight attention in the lectures.

Skubis is a great guy and funny. He is passionate about what he is teaching, so sometimes he goes off on tangents. He lacks organization when it comes to the notes but makes up for it when he gives us study guide for the 3 quizzes and 2 tests and final. Not an easy class but if you actually pay attention and show up to class you will get an A.

Meteorology is not easy. Many people think it is before they take a course in it, but it isn't. Dr. Skubis was one of my favorite professors and made the content interesting. He had a tendency to go off on tangents and there was no textbook to reference but he was amusing and made the content both interesting and learnable.

Not the most exciting class for 9 in the morning. His attendance is very random and usually just neglects to take it in the final month. His quizzes and tests are very tough, but his curve is massive. I got a C+ and my test average wasn't much higher than a 60. He is a cool guy and I don't think he gets enough respect
