Comment:

Professor Tubbs is the most infuriating professor I've ever had. His grading scales is completely bias, he grades based on who he likes the most. You will have a term paper at the end of the semester based on his textbook, he gives very vague directions and his textbook is poorly written and hard to understand. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!

Comment:

Impartial to students as opposed to some of the reviews here. Very charismatic and makes an effort to get the students engaged in the classroom. Stick to his guidelines (which he repeats several times) and you'll do great! Wouldn't recommend taking this class with anyone else.

Professor Tubbs seems to be a cool guy. However, for MGMT 202 he requires his book which is almost $150 and the only thing you use it for is the exam. I ended up with a C in the class after the exam because I didn't get the book - even though I received nothing below an A- in class. What a bummer.

This professor knows his stuff and I've never had a more inspirational teacher. Mgmt 450 is all about developing your leadership skills and yours will grow if you take him. I walked out of this class a better person. Such a wonderful professor. It was a pleasure to be in his class.

Dr Tubbs is overall a pretty good professor. He is strict on his grading. You will get the best grade if you do it his specific way. He is a man with lots of knowledge in his field. You have two 10 min presentations, one 10 page paper, and a final.

While Dr. Tubbs appears to be a very nice and caring man, he is very biased and plays favorites in his grading. He would grade people down because he didn't "like" things, not because they didn't meet the criteria. Also, he never had time to meet or email when I needed help. Don't take his classes unless you don't care about your grade.

Only the most important course you will take in your MBA program, with the wisest professor on campus. I was a pretty good student and have worked professionally, and am amazed that there are still so many things to learn from him. He is a REAL teacher, not merely a moderator/facilitator like other professors. Work hard, have fun, you will do well.

Good class content. Very easy assignments. Teacher seemed biased towards women and minority groups when giving out the presentation grades. Criteria seemed to change from one student to the next, so you did not know what to expect. Plus the term paper was thrown out because we all did so poorly on it. Whatever.
