Storm Bailey is someone who every Luther student should try and take at least one class with. If you are trying to get a true liberal arts education he is your guy. Class can get boring (i mean its philosophy), but most of the time the lectures/discussions make you think and he isn't a very harsh grader at all.

Storm is an extremely engaging lecturer. Lectures are based on what students want to talk about from the assigned reading. Storm leads class discussions by asking the hard questions and it is impossible NOT to think about what we are learning about outside of class. Grading is idea based and there is no busy work.

Dr. Bailey is a cool dude. He keeps class interesting with stories about his life and Rock'n'Roll but he doesn't come off as egotistic. Dr. Bailey was one of my favorite professors and I'd recommend him to anyone. He made Paideia great!

Storm is great! He's definitely gives the most intriguing lectures and is over all a great Prof. He'll quote Rock'n'Roll and Blues songs throughout class as well as probing you for your beliefs and evidence to back them up. Paideia was great with him!

I would have skipped quite a few paideia lectures if it was not for Storm. He always had a story about hanging out with gypsies as a child or about driving cadavers cross-country as a young man. Not only is he an interesting person, but also an extraordinary teacher. Some topics went over my head but it is definately taking a class from him.
