There is a pre lab quiz every week with a lab report after each lab and only two full formal lab reports. He grades really easy for lab and lab is a walk in the park if you write good lab reports. Definitely take him for lab not lecture

This class is really hard and you definitely need to work for your grade. No matter how hard you study there will be stuff on exams that you've never heard of. He know this material but can be a scatter brain in class. Final is cumulative with three other exams on top of it and random spread out homework assignments.

This class is challenging! Be prepared to work harder than you ever have and still be discouraged. Cromarty is horrible. He is confusing and all over the place in lecture, rude, and wants the class avg below a 70. I got my grade by studying 1-2hrs daily and 15+hrs two days before the exams. You really need to study a week in advance. You can do it

Physiology alone is no joke, be prepared to spend a lot of time studying and preparing for exams. the best advice i can give is to study atleast and hour a day, review as you go instead of the night before the exam. You will never pass his exams studying the night before, start atleast a week ahead. The exams are long so start with large point ques

Had him for Comparative Physiology. Great guy. However, if you are not ready to study.... and memorize ever single note you have taken do not take this class. You cannot miss a single class or else you miss his notes which is what he tests on. If you put in the much needed time and effort you will get an A if you do not have fun with the F.

I had Cromarty for physiology lab and hated him. But when I had an actual class with him (animal behavior) he was great. Respect him and he will give you respect back. He def tries to make the class interesting and presents the material pretty clearly. Overall people **** about him a lot but they are the people who want an easy A, hes a good guy

cromarty is impossible.....he gives notes and then tests on random facts that he expected you to know....very little from the notes he gave were on the test yet when you asked him what to study he replies "study all the notes from class"

Professor Cromarty is a great professor. His humor is hard to catch onto at first, but he is a great guy. Had him for lab, and all you have to do is pay close attention and asks lots of questions to do well. He knows his stuff!

Took A&P and Animal Behavior. Great teacher and it's clear he really loves what he does. People who claim his A&P exams are tough/impossible aren't paying attention in class - his questions come directly from lecture material. If you take good notes and study them, you should easily get a B if not an A. Animal Behavior was more difficult than A/P.

A&P were great! His notes are clear, if you pay attention instead of rolling your eyes, and his exams come directly from his notes. If you study and do the work, it should be an easy B at least or an A. Most people don't like his personality but you need to look past your first impressions. He's got a great sense of humor, once you get to know him.

Anatomy is a tough course but the way he presents it makes it harder. Basically the guy reads out slides to you, but has difficulty explaining what he is talking about. The tests are less based on comprehension of the material, and more on random facts which is why many ppl do poorly in his class.
