I am extremely surprised somebody would write him a bad review. Perhaps some of the professors who were fired wrote them. Also I never had Stuart Steele as a professor, I met with him several times. Stuart Steele is strict, but not over the limit. He knows how to work with students. I cannot imagine what the CS department would be without him.
