Sue is extremely helpful. If you are serious the class will be time consuming but I was left with my best work to show such as for portfolio building. She is open to students pursuing their ideas, she will do her best to see it happen with the lab we have. Her grading is normal unlike some in the art school who set irrelevant childish standards.

Nice lady at the beginning, can get crabby towards the end. Don't wait last minute to finish projects(hence her crabbiness). U will come to like making jewelry. Very odd grading structure. She gave me high scores on the stuff I thought was crap ans lower scores on stuff I thought were nicely done. Doesn't give lower than a B- on projects.

Love Sue she is an awesome lady! Take this class. I'm taking advanced next year because she made me love jewelrymaking so much. You get to make anything you want pretty much.

Ms. Dorman is a GREAT teacher! She helps you out a lot if you ask and gives good, thorough directions. FUN class, too; you make neat things. A lot of work, but not too hard a grader. Out of class hours required. TAKE THIS CLASS! FUN!
