Taking this class over wintermester. WHAT A MISTAKE! she legit gives out 50's IF YOU MAKE ONE PETTY MISTAKE. Its really annoying having to do about 4-5 hours of school work a day and then the prof is super strict on grading. you dont even learn anything its just following instructions from a book but theres about 40 pages a project(2x a day).

Comment:

I took both ITSW-1304 and ITSW-1310 online with Professor Furnas. These classes were taught well and the material was presented with a serious level of devotion to the appropriate topics. Of course, the textbooks were pricey (as most are), but were easy to work through given the materials that Professor Furnas provided. Great classes overall!

Comment:

I took it online and it was the easiest class ever. Almost every Friday we had 4 lab assignments and a quiz due but it was so easy. I missed a week for a funeral and only had a 25% deduction from my lab grades for being late. I would definitely take this professor again.

Took the online version of this class. 12 video assignments, 12 chapter assignment, 4 module exams, and 12 theory quizzes. For the MS assignments, google the questions, rephrase the answers, and submit online. For the theory quizzes, google the questions, the answers are word-for-word in Quizlet. Easy A.

Took the Online BCIS 1305 class. 12 quizzes, 12 Video assignments, 2 Exams, and a lot of MS assignments (4 per week). As long as you read, watch the videos and pay very close attention to what you have to type in the MS assignments (She will count off for simple mistakes), you will get an easy A. She is a very quick responder to emails also.

Easiest class I've ever taken, it is a lot of work and tons of assignments but they are all really easy. 12 quizzes,2 tests, 12 video assignments, and about 50 MS office assignments that take up a lot of time.

Her online class is really easy, except for the MS Office assignments. They're worth 50% of your grade, they take forever, and if I made 2 mistakes, she'd take off half of the credit.

I took her wintermester class. The content itself is stupid easy, the problem is that we have these Microsoft Office projects...44 of them. They aren't hard, you just have to follow a textbook step-by-step and take forever, basically about 20-30 minutes each. Way to ruin my winter break.

She has too much attitude. Every time another student Or I would ask a question she would go out of her way to make us feel stupid. Yet she encourages you to ask her questions if you have any and not other classmates.

Not only was this class far too confusing (due to many different websites involved) it is a complete free-time waster. Dispite the fact that you may have all As on every test, lab, etc, if she feels that you do not take the material seriously, she will be your worst nightmare. To sum it up, if you are forced to take this class, do it with sum1else

Let me start off by saying, whatever you do, DO NOT take professor Furnas, EVER. Unless, however, you like concussion and loads of busy work. Very grumpy! But if you're on her good side you should be fine. Attendance is 10% of your grade so definitely show up to class. Assignments and quizzes are very easy and self explanatory. Fair grader. Only two tests - midterm and final. Definitely recommend for an easy A.

Very clear-cut and concise. It seems the only people who did not like the class were the ones who did not attend and did not read the instructions. If you follow the directions WORD FOR WORD and attend class, you will get an easy A.

She doesn't help at all and very rude when answer the questions. Even didn't bother to reply my email. The instruction wasn't clear and she was not interested in explaining. All she did was grading. I guess I have to go to see the Dean if I dont get an A on this class.

Hated this class. Was easy and got a B, but it was tedious and time consuming. Long tests over boring chapters. The assignments over things like Word, Pwrpnt, etc were easy and the book shows you step by step what to click which was easy. Otherwise, boring class and not very interesting.
