Susan is great. UST forces you to take three theology courses. I was blessed with having Susan for two of them. She is a Saint and half the course is completion.

Honestly this woman makes a mockery of the bible. I took her class Women of the Early Church. She studies the bible with the perspective of feminist theology. Practically this boils down, to the viewpoint of the woman being correct, and all other viewpoints being wrong. If you believe in the authority of scriptures don't take this class.

She doesn't believe in docking people for being quiet. So as long as you take good notes and are attentive in class you will get good participation points. The tests are difficult, but if you study hard you will do well.

Do not take her. Gives out TONS of busy work for every class. Details on test were ridiculous. I've attended a Catholic school since kindergarten and this class was challenging for me. She is a nice woman, but does not like to give out As. Way too much work for an introductory level course.

Dr. Myers was a nice teacher and showed alot of interest in the subject. However, she did not teach it to the students in a clear manner. This was the hardest class I have taken since I have been at UST. The coursework is heavy and the tests are difficult. I suggest not to take her class.

She knows the material but is in her own world when it comes to teaching the class. Goes way too fast when giving notes and notes are unclear to begin with. Tests include material that was not covered in class. Minute details that were not discussed during lecture become test questions. Homework due every day of class, find a different professor.

Very nice Prof, she makes class enjoyable and she will know everybody's name within the first week which is nice. Quite a bit of work for the class and a bit of a tough grader but if you work hard you can get a B

Very very nice and very knowledgeable. She is extremely clear and knows what she is talking about. Honestly there isn't that much reading but you can't blow it off. She has an incredibly difficult grading system. 95% is cut off for an A. Sometimes does curve though. I would definitely recommend her if you are committed to the class.

One of the nicest teaches I've had. I normally hate theology, but I ended up really liking the course. I took it over J-term and even though it was a lot of work, I would definitely recommend the class and this teacher. She loves it when you participate and ask question. And make sure you do all of the readings.

I had her for the 200 level Theo. I am a straight A student and it was the HARDEST class I have taken at UST. You will have a quiz every day on the reading and they are hard. Tests and papers are extremely hard. She is a very tough grader, very strict on attendance. Very boring class. Do not take it.

She is a very nice teacher, and is always willing to help her students out. She is not an easy A, but her class is straight foreward, if you do the readings, you will do well. There are two longer papers, frequent quizzes, two test, and several one page reactions. Overall a good class, and a good teacher.

This class is worth taking, because the structure of the course is very simple and organized. Your syllabus has the assigned readings for each night. Two exams, two papers (four pages each), with a few page long reflections on the readings. Attendance is important for an A because she has a quiz almost every day- read your assignments CAREFULLY.

Very enthusiastic, which is good for theology. Very knowledgeable, and answers students' questions thoroughly. A ton of readings every night though. Also has a bunch of completely random quizzes over the readings, meaning you should attend lecture daily. Requires volunteer work. Two exams (Midterm and Final), multiple choice and essay; not bad.

Myers was my first experience with theology, so I don't have anyone to compare her to. She is kind of nutty, but I suppose nice overall. She gives quite a few reading quizzes. I have found that even if I read, they are still tough. Only two tests, so you have to do well on them. She also requires service work for her class.

all i can say is that i had very little knowledge of the new test. and she automatically assumes that everyone knows the bible cover to cover. All i really have to say is go to class everyday (you have quizes on the readings once a week, you have no idea what day the quiz will be) you have hw everynight which means you will read about 20-40 pages

I would not recommend this professor!! She treats the students as if they were in kindergarten! Never clear on the material she is trying to present. Swears by the author of a text book who is out to prove the Bible wrong. Still curious on how she is teaching at a Catholic University

Holy workload batman! Absolutely ridiculus amount of reading (really boring, poorly translated material), you're always writing a paper, and on top of that you're expected to volunteer 10 hours during the semester. Would probably be an interesting class to audit.
