Easy memorization is all this class entails. All you do is watch movies and Rep-co performances that are extremely funny and comedic. Definitely recommend this class for the A requirement. Easy A as well.

This was a very easy class. She lectures and you watch movies and some outside studying is needed, but it is otherwise really enjoyable. The TAs are nice and some go out of their way to give help to students. Definitely take this class!!

Professor Peters seems like a great person. She's funny and cracks little jokes during the lectures. She structures her reviews so you'll succeed on the tests. TAs are harsh on some kids but there is some ridiculous favoritism going on with others. RepCo performances are interesting, some better than others.

I was disappointed with this professor. She is difficult to understand (she mumbles into the mic)and she is scatterbrained. The only way you are going to get an A in this class is if you have a great memory. I was hoping to get more out of her class than just dates and names. As for the work load, reading the chapter textbook will help you on exams

If you want to take MIDI actually to learn, do not take this class with her. Yes, she knows about the production of sound and some little bits about MIDI and whatnot, but the class is horribly taught and when it comes to actual technical knowledge in the lab, she knows nothing. She relies heavily on one TA who is rather arrogant and self-centered.

I'm sure she's sweet when you know her personally, but, as one of 200 students, my only concern is whether she can teach well. It's impossible to understand her half the time. I hoped to gain some appreciation for the intricacies of musical theater, but you just regurgitate who composed what through the decades. Half the TAs are on power trips.

Had her for THEA 101, Techniques of Musical theater, as a musical director, and for Rep Co. She is funny, sweet, will try to know you as a person, and focuses a lot on your enjoyment of performance classes. Enjoy your time with her!

She is funny, insane, sweet and awesome. The class was an easy A as long as you did some sort of work. All in all, I don't agree with everything she says, but she's a wonderful person and professor; it was a pleasure getting to know her.

I loved Susan Peters. Spunky, and hilarious at times because she speaks the truth in a nonchalant way. "Oh, Sue" was an affectionate common phrase in that class. I really loved the Rep Co. performances: entertaining! Test reviews given, didn't include EVERYTHING you need to know, but will get you a good grade. GREAT, FUN, RELAXING class.

Easiest class of my life. She gives you the review sheet the class before every exam, which has all of the answers on it. Her tests are 100 questions, which are multiple choice or true false or matching. You don't even need to pay attention. She was hilarious, but the REP Company was horrible, try not to listen, just know the songs they sing.

I recommend for anyone interested in musicals, any freshman, or anyone who wants a better GPA. Movies are regular and make it more relaxed than other classes, Rep Company sings to you, not well but entertaining. Wonderful and simple matching/tf and basic question tests

Sue is awesome. I've known her for almost a year now, and out of the 20+ professors I've had, she's been the most enthusiastic, most positive, funniest, and all-around great teacher. If you don't have a sense of humor, then don't take her classes.

Don't take this course unless you want to find yourself memorizing useless junk for an exam the day before or the day of. The material is ridiculously boring. Movies are alright. There is extra credit though.

Good prof if u are interested in theater... or else u would just find urself memorizing some random stuffs just roughly about 3 days before the exam. She would not post the complied info u need to know about the memorization part until like AT MOST 4 days before the exam. It seemed to me that ur memorizing some random craps when it comes to exams..

love this class and it's really easy. just go to lecture and take notes, she tells you what you have to know for the tests. reviews before tests help. wasn't going to take this class but the other one was full and didn't know a single thing about broadway, now end up liking theater a lot! she's nice and funny.

MIDI is a joke. Even upper level MIDI. You just play around with stuff and get As on everything. If you need a boost to your GPA and can sit through ridiculously boring 3 hour lectures, MIDI is the place to be. Peters is cool, but there's not much structure to the class, and a lot of it is presentations from upper MIDI students, and no one cares...
