Dr. Abbott is a great teacher! She is very helpful and really works hard to break done difficult information into easily understood pieces. The class itself is hard sometimes,but if you work at it you'll do fine. Her small assignements are really helpful too, make sure you do them, they'll help your average and your grade on the tests.

Dr. Abbott is a wonderful teacher. She is more than willing to keep going the information until you get it. I liked her grading system. She gives lots of daily work that helps you average.

Phonetics is a boring class, but if you don't understand the information Dr. Abbott is more than willing to help you in any way possible. She gives several outside assignments, some of them are graded on completion, not by if it's right or wrong. STUDY FOR YOUR TEST and you will do fine.

She is disorganized and its almost as if she is trying to confuse you. When you ask questions, she usually does not know how to answer them. Her tests are rediculous and she rambles about stuff you don't need to know about for the tests, and doesn't go over the stuff you do need to know. She gives insane amounts of homework and grades it unfairly

Make sure you do all the work on time. Dr. Abbott will work with you if ever you need help. The problem most have in this class is that if you don't learn the basics, you will have a hard time keeping up for the rest of the semester. It's tough, but IT CAN BE DONE. I made an A.

I do think that Dr.Abbott is somewhat of a nice person but as far as being a teacher she is horrible. First she graded unfairly and rambled on about stuff we did not even have to know. She is not a good teacher and if you have to take her class then kiss her a** that seems to get people good grade

i thought Dr. Abbott was not a very good teacher. She knew the information but she could not relay it to the students. I just think phonetics is not her subject, she should be fired.
