Participation and group projects are a big part of your grade in the class, and there is a decent amount of reading assigned every day (30 paged articles or like 50 pages of book reading) but the class is really interesting and Averett is really knowledge about the topic!!! Really funny and outgoing prof

Expect an incredibly impossible amount of work; she thinks her class is the only one you're taking. She adamantly refuses to give answers to the problem sets so better hope you're doing them right. Lots of textbook reading, and each class she briefly goes over whatever you read and that's it. Exams are terrible, at least there's more than 2.

One of the most helpful professors I have ever had, she is routinely available to explain material outside of class. She takes the time to condense the material in class as well as keep it interesting. Her jokes are an acquired taste, I admit, but her energy is refreshing. Be careful of fb pictures ending up on her slides on last day of class.

Excellent professor. If you're going to take a senior sem, take it with her. Yes, you will have to do work, but it's worth her corny jokes. She gives you every opportunity to learn.

The higher level of econometrics (not the baby 213) A large amount of hard materials to be covered in 1 semester. She's smart, loud and very funny in class. Papers aren't bad. But her exams can kill you.
