I understand that organic chemistry is a difficult subject, but Dr. Cramer was not patient enough to work with me during office hours. I had to find a tutor on my own to get a C+. I recommend taking Dr. Homan instead. He is much more patient and better at explaining.

Cramer is an excellent teacher. I appreciated the way she explained and went through the material in an organized fashion. Very helpful in office hours. Organic is a really tough class and requires a ton of work no matter who you take, but it can be quite rewarding too.

Comment:

For starters you have to remember that O Chem is hard no matter who teaches it; it is the nature of the class. With that said she laid it out in a clear fashion and if you make a point to go to her office hours she is really helpful. It is a very time consuming class, but not as bad as most make it out.

Terrible prof. Very unprofessional and difficult to understand. She grades more forgivingly than the other O-chem professor, but if you haven't learned anything in the first place it doesn't really help much.

Dr. Cramer is a good teacher. The class takes a lot of work if you want to do well, but she is always very helpful in her office hours. she tries very hard to help you learn the material. AND SHE DOESNT HAVE ANY CATS!!!!

Let me start this by saying i am pretty bad at ochem and dont enjoy it at all. With that being said, i must say that she is not the best teacher i have ever had. she doesnt seem to be very confident with the material and she is not very clear. However she is always available during office hours to help you out. I would say take the other dude.

She hold office hours in the gee the night before tests and is there till 11 or 12 at night. She really wants you to succeed and encourages you to ask questions. Definately take her.
