Comment:

Knows her stuff, great teacher with a harsh attitude towards the class itself. Wants no slackers and she will try to kick you out, attendance not mandatory but it helps you get on her goodside cause she really keeps up with who comes and who doesnt.

Comment:

Calculus is hard. period. However, Ferguson is probably the best calc teacher available. She doesn't make the subject easier, but she helps you know how to study. She helps you understand the concepts behind problems. If you are taking Calculus, take her. You still have to work hard, but you'll be working hard on problems that matter.

I had ap cal in hs so I breezed through this class with an A. If you do the homework and understand it, you'll do just fine. Her tests are easy. I mean, she gives you partial credit for a wrong answer. Also, she gives extra credit so you should be able to get a decent grade. Of four test grades and a final grade that counts twice, for a total

Whoever gives the professor a bad evaluation is lazzy. If you do your homework, you are sure of a good grade A or B. She knew her stuff. She is also very helpful, i meant she's really there for the students... If you take her, pay attention and do you homework you'll be fine. Extra credict available

she is a pretty good teacher but she makes a lot of mistakes while writing problems on the board..she doesnt like to admit her mistakes so she "talks the problem to death". takes her a long time to review old problems and teaches new section in a very short time. but not a bad prof overall.

she is a wonderful prof. i took her for my cal 1 and cal 2.and would take her for cal3 if she teaches it. only way u can succed in her class, is by doing the homeworks. she has extracredit on every tests. she explains good but only thing is u got to ask her questions. she is very helpful.

Pretty difficult, tests are fairly unclear and you can not read her hand writing for anything on the board, and half the time students are correcting her calculations that she has done for you on the board.

She is a really good teacher, but I think it might be hard to understand calculus just by taking her class because most of the people who are doing well in her class took AP Calc in high school. She is a really nice person though and does not talk as much as the other ratings say she does.

her class is fun and useful only if uve taken ap calc in hs..or else its gonna be quite outta place for u..her tests are hard and she does very limited problems as in she does the easy ones and expects u to know the hard ones based on her doing the easu ones.

Susan Ferguson is awful to talk for Calculus I if you have no previous background with Calculus. The only people that perform well in her course are the high-school students who are taking her class and really need some extra support with Calculus, she is not helpful at all. She is a major B^&**%.
