I don't know what the sad people are talking about. I hate math and never did good - She is the first and only teacher that made everything simple. She makes mistakes but it keeps you awake and into the problem. All the study guides are exactly like tests and all problems are life related. I LOVE HER and would definately take her again.<3s BEAR

Her teaching style takes some getting used to, but stick with her. Most of the negative comments sound like young, immature students who dont expect to WORK for an 'A'. I STINK at math - I barely did the homework (except projects, which were easy) and I studied hard for the tests. I got an 'A' and actually learned something.

It is so SAD when students have to CORRECT a teacher on mistakes. No quizzes, only 3 tests for the semester which are almost identical to the study guide she gives you. EASY. Alot of little projects. Do the homework (which she never collects) and it is an easy B. She has alot of corny jokes. Have fun.

she's not a bad teacher but she's pretty boring and she makes a lot of mistakes. the class is really easy though and it's pretty much an easy A b/c although there's some projects they're really easy. so if u're not afraid of being bored i recommend her compared to some of the other teachers who teach "math for teachers"

I liked her, but I couldnt get used to her teaching methods at first, i passed two tests with a C, I almost gave up, but then I realized that all I had to do was to look at the practice tests, they were almost the same as the tests. Next two tests I got an A and a B, watch out for the projects too, but ask her if u have any questions, good teacher

I enjoyed the class. It is math so what do you expect? It is not going to be the most exciting class but ya have to make the best of it. As long as you do your homework, do the practice tests, and ask questions, you will get an A. The study guids were exactly like the test. I would take her again for sure. thanks...

I had Mrs. Garska for my prob and stats class and, although she is a nice lady, she is a horrible teacher. She spaces out while lecturing, takes a long time to respond to e-mails, and tends to talk about things that don't involve what she's teaching.

Take this teacher if your not good @ math, she go step by step how to use your calc w/ the problems. Exams are just like the practice test she gives. She gives five projects, they are easy and she will help with them too
