This is by far the worst teachers at sdsu dont take this class for a graduation requirement the amount of work you have to do in this class is so ridiculous even the other student in class where so confused on the test and you have to do a 8 page paper or the 5 page assignment

I love her! Be sure to go through all the required reading since it's helpful for quizzes. Quizzes were twice a week with a discussion post once a week. As long as you stay on topic, discussions are easy! Overall, super nice professor! She'll answer questions through email and come up with a compromise if you miss a deadline!

Doesn't reply to emails and her quizzes (six of them) are really confusing, you never know what she's really asking. There's a 6 pg (single spaced) paper or you can do a 20 hour internship with a 3 pg paper. Lectures are boring as hell. I've seen worse, but don't take her if you don't have to.

EASY A. I really liked this professor and the class was interesting, she's clearly knows and enjoys the subject. You have to read 2 novels and have written exam then multiple choice on the subjects in class that are online and easy. Some extra credit that involves participation in events, optional final. Would take again.

Reading is an essential to do well on her quizzes and there are 3 assigned books (read all of them ) allot of work for a GE the paper due needs to be at least 12 pages not double spaced to get a good grade and that requires you reading 5 more books. the lectures are long and boring but if you put the work in you will do well.

Professor Gonda has so much spunk and passion for history and women's studies! I took her 2 hr. 40 min. night class and it flew by, because she keeps her lectures interesting and entertaining. The course requires reading and writingwelcome to college. If you stay on top of things, it's an easy A. She's one of my favorites; taking 341B this spring!

Great instructor. As a heads up...this class requires a lot of reading and writing. There is a discussion board almost weekly. Gonda is a great professor. Took her class online. She was very quick to answer all my questions. I got an A.

Excellent teacher. Passionate about the subject and knowledgeable. The lectures were really interesting which made it easy to get engaged into discussions. Extremely helpful and prompt when it comes to e-mails. Only downside is there is a lot of reading but it's worth it. Give detailed answers to the quizzes.

Prof Gonda was incredibly knowledgeable in her material. I love the way she presented the information. She made good use of class time. I thought the assignments were pretty easy, except for the Annotated Bibliography at the end of the semester. It wasn't necessarily hard, just time consuming. Overall, excellent class.

I had her for WMNST 341B first, and the two classes are pretty much identical, just different material. She's a great professor: very interesting, clear on what she expects. I got A's in both classes. Lots of papers to write, but she might change that and add an exam.

Prof Gonda is a good teacher, but a whole lot of writing to do. 4 quizzes, 2 projects, but it's all writing! Her quizzes are 800 word essays. She DOES look for specific things in your quizzes, making sure to answer the questions she had listed as well as cite. This is important, if you do that, you'll get good grades on quizzes. Lectures are good.

She is a very engaging and interesting professor-but with that said: she would like to be helpful, but is only on campus for one long class, her grading is difficult to understand until you realize she just skims your work, don't worry about flowery writing, just know your stuff. Dont except papers back before your next is due. Attendance VERY MAND

Such an easy course. Like previously stated... only 4 take home quizzes and 1 easy choose-your-own-topic project. I got B and never did the assigned readings until the paper. It's very easy to get a B with minimal work.

Boring & more of a history class than womens studies. Yes, there are four take home quizzes & a paper. It's kind of like a piece of cake, but stay on top of your game for due dates. She often misplaces things, so don't be surprised if you don't get things back right away.

This class was simple,do 4 TAKE HOME quizzes a semester and a project. that's it. she is a really, really easy grader, and generally her lectures are interesting! she was helpful if you had questions but not so good on letting you know your grade. If you ended with a A/B, NO FINAL!! not hard to get an a, just dont pocrastinate. reccomended!!!!!

I took Gonda for 341A and 341B and enjoyed being in her class. She is slow on returning papers, but overall she cares about her students and wants them to do well. Her lectures are discussion style which is good. She requires 4 quizzes (essays) written from home and at the end of the semester a paper or community service is req, whichever you prefe

For a GE, this class is demanding! Lots of weekly readings & papers due each week. Harsh grader & she lost most students papers this semester. If you have a B or better, you pass & don't take the final. Only problem is, you have no idea how you're doing in the class all semester because she never hands back your work. Scatterbrained teacher.Good luc
