Professor Haller reminds me of my high school math teachers. She seems to care about helping us pass, if we request help. Classes are short 50 minute lectures, but we usually cover new topics. Make sure to take good notes and study for your tests. As for homework, you get few paper assignments, but there is a lot of MyMathLab work. Be sure to do it

I've always hated math. STAT courses are required for my major so I decided to take this. I was very lucky to have picked this one! Although my class was in a lecture hall, Haller made you feel like you were in a class of 15 people. Very good at lecturing and keeps you interested. As long as you do homework and a little review, you will do well.

I took STAT193 with Diane Lovett and she was AWFUL! I withdrew from the course and decided to take it was Susan Haller the following semester. When I took it with Lovett, I failed every test. 2nd exam I got a B! She is very funny, moves at a slower pace so you get every concept. Great professor!!!

Haller is a great professor! As long as you keep going to class and are able to submit your homework on time you'll be fine. Tests are somewhat difficult so studying is necessary.

One of my favorite math professors! She can really tell when the general class doesn't understand what she is teaching, and she is sure to slow down and adjust the schedule to accommodate. I consider math one of my weaker subjects, but if you do the classwork and the short homework this class will not be challenging.

This class was very difficult for me, however, I am not good at math in the first place. You never know exactly what is going to be on her tests. I was struggling in the class and talked to her, she was helpful. This class is difficult if you are not good at math, hard to follow lectures, lots of content learned in each class period. Teaches fast.

Thirty students started in my class and less than ten took the final. The homework was very confusing. There is book homework and online homework. Took the class again with another professor and got an A.

Susan is a great professor that know what she is doing. she is very organized & will to help. the good thing you have to do for yourself is to solve problems on each section she has taught, with that you will pass her exams. if you don't solve problem outside the class then get ready to fail. This class is not for Lazy and unserious student.

Do not take MATH 201 with her!! She is not helpful at all and she does not explain things clearly. Tests are hard. I was excited for this class going into it and now I dread MATH 301 next year. You don't want the stress this class will put on you!

Do not take her for 201!!!!! She doesn't help her student just sends them to the tutor. you end up teaching yourself. Does not teach things clear and slow. Expects you to read her mind. I loved math till I took her.

She's great, she's nice and accommodating. Really wants her students to succeed and she made coming to a 9:30 class easy. I actually stayed awake. She makes cute little jokes and is always on time. She puts power point notes on D2L, PRINT THEM OUT! You have no idea how much they help. Textbook is mainly used for extra problems that aren't required.

She is very well versed on the subject she teaches. She is willing to work with you on any accommodations you need. I have had her for three classes, and as long as you study your homework you should have no problem getting at least a B. Almost every problem on the tests are from homework. I would take her no matter what math class it is.

Great prof, really knows the stuff she is teaching and has tons of real-life classroom knowledge that she shares. She really gets you to understand the subject from an educator's perspective, and expects you to know and fully understand material. Hard grader, but gives students plenty of help. Class is interesting!

Few assigned homework problems. No quizzes, only exams. Exams are somewhat difficult. Format included multiple choice, a few essay-type, and short answer. No reviews provided. Professor has the class teach itself the material in lecture. She tends to gets off topic easily.

I HATE MATH. But she makes it kinda fun. Tests have weighted questions. Show your work and if you miss something she will give partial credit. TA's are sometimes helpfull, sometimes come off snooty. Class is large. There are tons of on-line practice quizzes. If I can pass, anyone can.
