Had here for the once a week auditorium lecture. She is a middle aged Liberal trying to feign she is hip, Made cliched comments such as, MTV rock the vote brought out the young to vote" Wrong dear. Read some real statistics. Lecture was pretty much filler and a waste of time.

As long as you aren't rude and don't talk during lecture, she won't target you. She will make your life Hell, though, if you come in late and walk in front of the projector, and she refuses to give handouts to late people as well. Overall, she is decent, though. It's easy if you just listen.

EWAH! She's the worst!!! She thinks a good prof, is a hard one regaurdless of what you learn. If you don't have a doctorate, good luck talking to her b/c a student isn't worthy of her time. I don't recomend her. She's awful.

Large group lecture is easy to follow for note taking. Whole course is taught on PowerPoint. Gives a fill-in-the-blank handout at beginning of each class. Dry material. Strict about attendance. Boring as all get out, but standardized for quizzes with small group lecture professors.

took her class 2 years ago... to put it simply, this woman SUCKS... i tried to get into her 295 class and since she reached her cap she wouldnt let me in... and I was a senior! She talks about her weird family and religion and she doesn't know how to grade. I got a better grade than i thought i would (A-) DONT TAKE HER WHATEVER YOU DO!

NOT A FAN AT ALL. Very sarcastic at times, talks down to students, rude and insulting. She accused me of not writing a paper I wrote. She felt I didn't have the "thinking capacity" to write such a paper. Nice huh? Don't take her, and if you have to, don't take the online classes, better off taking reg. classes with her.

Holton's grading methods are all over the board.She grades papers differently everytime and most of the time I am not sure if she knows what she is looking for.She is very rude when writing emails and is not eager to help students with questions.It seems that if it was covered in class then you should know it even if you have questions after.

She talks down to her students and treats them like dirt. She was too busy to read through my paper so she stopped at my first mistake and said she wouldn't read further than that. She wasn't helpful at all. She made my semester way more stressful than it had to be. She's snobby, arrogant, and rude... and quite frankly, I don't know what she sees in herself. Dr. Susan Holton was the worst professor I have ever had at BSC. Thanks for nothing.

She sucked. I did all the work and followed directions and I got a D for a final grade. Then she realized she forgot to grade me on some assignments so I had to find the already graded assignments and send them to her. Alot of my summer was trying to get the grade I deserved, which i finally got. ADVICE: Take someone else

This professor seems to speak with me by utilizing condesending practices, and has even accused me and others in my class of plagiarism. When I stated in an email that I did no such thing, the grade on paper was changed to a passing status grade and the comment of "OK" was added.

Even good students have trouble with this course. I really don't think she grades with 200-level criticism. It felt like 400-level harshness. I have a 3.4GPA and got a C and a panic attack from this course. ...she can be just as helpful and concerned as she can be cold and demanding.

DONT take her. she is sooo rude, cold, ignorant, and not open-minded at all. I can't stand her lectures; however, she makes slides and it makes it easier to take notes. I just dont like how she teaches the class, and she is cold in her tone when she speaks. it looks like she could tear you apart
