Comment:

Susan Jones makes the class very enjoyable. The textbook is a book written by her so it's super cheap and most of the homework comes from the book. The biggest group project is a Google AdWords campaign but Susan makes it very clear what is expected of her students. Lectures are very short and the majority of class is spent working in groups.

Great professor, very helpful and gives great feedback just get ready to work! As an online class, there is LOTS to do to keep you busy! Get ready to read, do quizzes, and write long papers, but are all pretty easy just need to take the time.

Took her for an online class and was constantly doing homework assignments, discussion boards, and quizzes. Most of it is just busy work an was not useful at all. We had two books, one which she wrote, so she was always trying to push that one more even though the other book was more helpful. Really disliked this class and all the useless busy work

She is a scatter-brained professor who constantly needs to "update the schedule" because of failure to plan the class on her part. She seems easy to manipulate. The class is full of busy work and assignments that could be done in class rather than watching tutorials and turning it in a week later.

One of the worst professors I have ever had. All she does is read off of power points and play useless Youtube videos that I could do at home. She expects everyone to do things her way, even if it's not what we were taught in previous PR classes. She is rude to students and does not care about student opinions.

She could be a good professor if she didn't focus on everything that doesn't have to do with the subject she's teaching. She plays youtube videos all class that make your eyes glaze over and she's rude if students don't look at her the whole class. She simply doesn't care about what the students get out of it.

Very good professor. Had her twice and I recommend taking her for any class. Had 4 tests total, all take home. Grades pretty easy. Online quiz almost every week, except when a test is due. Come to class, pay attention, do the work and you'll pass with an A.

The weekly papers weren't bad. Even if I thought I did a crappy job, she loved it and always gave me A's. She's really anal about having everything done her way. Sometimes she snaps out of nowhere and just freaks out. Sometimes I feel like I could teach the class better than her cause she's kinda dumb and doesn't know what she's talking about.

Jones is straight forward, if you show up and do the work, you will be fine. Do NOT fall asleep in class. She has lots of experience with marketing and advertising, she does a great job teaching and sharing knowledge.Quizzes are kind of a pain, and you have a 1-2 page paper due every week on the lesson, but its critical thinking so its not that bad

Comment:

Teacher required participation and attendance, which made learning easier and time go by faster. Some students don't like that -- they want to coast by. If that's the goal, Jones is not the right prof for them.
