Nice, but not entirely approachable. Has a bit of a high opinion of herself and tries a little too hard to establish a clear line between teacher and student. A lot of strange formalisms and formalities take place that I can't say have with my other professors. Doesn't really have the time to help you. 1st, HW, then class on topic. Teach Yourself.

Really knows her stuff. However, if you make one kind of mistake (such as a grammatical/sp error) repeatedly she takes off points each time even if it is in the same assignment. Expects nothing short of above and beyond and will expect you to keep up with no exceptions. A little harsh with her grading criteria. Otherwise extremely knowledgeable.
