The tests require a lot of critical thinking and combine various concepts covered throughout the class. At times she gets behind in lecture and may have a test Q on something not covered in class yet, and hw problems on stuff not covered in class yet. Is very helpful one on one, requires A LOT of extra work outside of class and self teaching

She is a very kind and energetic woman, but not the best professor to take physics if you plan on being prepared for higher level classes. Labs were easy, homework counted as extra credit, and tests were difficult but fair. She didn't really help me when I went to office hours. I didn't feel prepared for 106.

Loved physics in high school, hating it now. I haven't really learned anything. Not a good teacher. The way she wants you to do the labs is very confusing, even when you ask for clarification. I got my first labs back, had done almost all the math right, and got 4/10 because of it. I was stressed so I started crying and she just laughed in my face.

she is a nice woman, but not a good teacher- if you are considering being a physics major just take as few classes with her as possible. she is not helpful in clarifying difficult material and uses overheads during class which she has been using for years.

Doesn't do a good job preparing you for tests, you have to do a lot on your own. She's very hard to track down, but if you can get a hold of her she's very helpful. She's actually very nice, but will point out the people who are doing well, which can be uncomfortable.

bad class!! she teaches you to do 2 + 2 in the class but expects you to do calculus on the tests. she tries to be helpful but it's usually too late. i have no interest in physics at all now, and i'm definitely failing. she adores physics but doesn't get it why other people don't understand it.

Well, she's a really nice lady and all, but the only reason I made it though even the first semester was prior physics knowledge. Test are really long w/ a time limit that she can't do herself, vague, crazier than most physics profs. Take Atalay instead

She's very enthusiastic about physics, which makes the class interesting. She is also very helpful and makes herself available when needed. Her tests are really hard, but as long as you put forth effort you probably can't do too badly in the class.

what a bipolar psycho!!! this woman is far too eccentric. her excitement for the material is too much...and she is harsh as hell, even on personal levels...very judgemental...you learn a lot from her...but sometimes you regret knowing her
